  1. I know how you feel. It will get better, so try to stay positive. I was very depressed, had buyers remorse and thought this was how it was going to be forever. But I'm happy to say it's not.
  2. Sorry to hear that. My nausea has finally subsided. It seemed once I was moved to puree I did so much better. Good luck and feel better.
  3. Well had first appt today. Finally got some Zofran. They did move me to pureed foods. But if I can't tolerate, then back to liquids I go. NUT is baffled as to the protein intolerance. She reluctantly switched me to a protein blend. She thinks I may have an intolerance to the whey isolate. Fingers crossed this is the beginning of good days ahead.

  5. Yes Nectars all the way. Then switched to Isopure. Got the Isopure drinks. Nothing works. Can only handle water, broth and jello. Tomorrow is my follow up so I'm praying for relief and some reassurance.
  6. I tried the Isopure with no success. I just can't put my finger on it. Glad to hear you are doing well @@jcrob
  7. My NUT said 3 shakes a day plus liquids. I've used skim milk, water, even the Isopure drinks...no good.
  8. My husband had the sleeve one month before me and it was smooth sailing for him. So I feel even worse about these issues I'm having. He has been EXTREMELY supportive, but I have that stupid "WHY ME" running through my head. Thanks for the words of encouragement
  9. I go see the doctor tomorrow. Yes, I'm on Omeprezole. I hope they give me something tomorrow.
  10. Had my sleeve done 8/3. When I came home I started my protein drinks, water, broth, etc. Every time I have protein I get severe nausea and vomiting. I cut out protein yesterday and it was the only day I felt "normal." Tried shake this morning, using water, and I'm suffering the same misery. I see my doctor for my follow up tomorrow, but in the meantime I am depressed and second guessing myself. I feel like this is going to be my new life and it's torture. On a positive I'm down 15 lbs, but who wouldn't be if all you have is water and you vomit at least once a day.
  11. how far out of surgery are you?
  12. @@tokyo311 how many days out of surgery are you?
  13. @AmbulanceDude....no slow small sips.
  14. I am 5 days post op and suffering from severe nausea and bouts of vomitting. I have attributed it to the protein shakes, so I switched to protein drinks. Nausea persists. Anyone else have this issue?
  15. I am 5 days out and cannot tolerate protein shakes or protein drinks. Nausea, vomitting. Just complete misery. Has anyone else experienced this?
