  1. I got a fitbit on July 11 and it died on August 11...I was up to 7500 steps a day. My replacement should arrive tomorrow and I cannot wait. I find that it keeps me really focused on my goal of walking. I found myself walking more, parking farther away, etc. I like it a lot and it helps me.
  2. Isopure unflavored. I got it so I can add it to anything and it does not have to be sweet. So I can add it to broth, etc.
  3. Welcome to the forum. Make sure you ask all of the questions you may have. I think all of us are excited and nervous.
  4. September 15 for me! Completed surgeon consent meeting and pre-admission meetings this week. Am on 2 week pre-op diet of 2 Protein drinks and one meal of protein, vegetables, piece of fruit. All the best to the rest of the September Sleevers.
  5. Congratulations on your progress. Time flies.
  6. At a minimum 64 oz a day. You basically have to sip constantly throughout the day. I have heard of people taking Water bottles and marking them with 8 am, 10 am, 12 pm....etc. and making sure you have sipped to that point by that time. Please stay hydrated!
  7. I was asked to eliminate all carbonated beverages. I cut those out 6 weeks ago so I could get in the habit of not having them. It has not been bad at all.
  8. Yes, I bought one about 6 weeks ago just to track my steps. It keeps me focused on number of steps and keeps me parking far away from buildings to get more steps in. Good luck!
  9. Don't worry. You will be given a couple of antibiotics to take for two weeks prior to surgery. You should be fine.
  10. Join the group. I was surprised when they called me last week and told me to start taking 50,000 of Vitamin D once a week. I feel a bit more energy since I started taking it.
  11. Hi. I am going through the program at Beth Israel Deaconess in Milton. Have completed all the tests, sonogram, psychological eval, met with NUT. Next week I meet with Dr. who provides medical clearance, and meet with NUT to see if I have lost any weight in 3 weeks. After this they decide if I am good to go, then I meet surgeon and get surgery date. Cheers.
