  1. I had pain and nausea in recovery. They quickly fixed that. That same night I had very little pain. The next day I was agitated. I wasn't taking pain medication. The doctor told me to take it. So he gave me an IV medication. Then a few hours later sleeping medication. I sleep like a baby and woke up feeling great. I took the Vicodin before having the drain removed. I am 5 days post op and not in pain at all.

  3. My doctor doesn't want us to take calcium till 30 days out. My surgery is 8/25 but I have already started taking Bariatric Advantage calcium. I will stop taking them next weekend. 4 days before surgery. I like the flavor.

  5. I am RNY pre-op I am Two weeks from today. 8-25. My pre-op diet is just 1200 calories until two days before surgery then liquid for two days. I am finally getting close.

  8. Midtown sunshine! I want to put a schedule on my phones alarms to remind me of when to take my pills and drink my protein and water. I think I am going to need help. I think I need a get up and walk on it too.

  18. You could add fruit to the vanilla drinks.
  19. You may not be eating enough! Also my nut said to change up the food you are eating?
  20. How about getting bikes for everyone. Exercise for the whole family.
  21. I just got my sample kit in the mail today. I was also told you might not have a problem with protein shakes after surgery even if your are before. So don't get rid of your shakes and try them post op.
