  1. Unfortunately breast feeding didn't work for me. My daughter is a month old and I am gaining weight now. I think that I am eating out of bordom. I will be getting my first fill since getting everything removed in September. I am nervous because I don't have any restrictions right now and I am not sure how I will do with a fill. It is almost like I forgot about my band. That is dangerous!! I gained 45 lbs. with this pregnancy however, I still needed to lose about 60 lbs. I am now 90 lbs. away from goal. I will get a little bit in my band too. I don't want to over do it now. Thanks for the great support post. Carrie:smile:
  2. I have a question. I had surgery on Jan 21, 2008 in August I found out that I was pregnant and May 9, 2009 I delivered my beautiful baby girl. When I found out I was pregnant I got an unfill. My doctor wanted it all out. I did great the first couple of months with weight gain but I ended up gaining around 50lbs. I am going in for my first fill on June 24th and I am nervous about it. I am not sure what to expect. I haven't had any restriction in so long. How do I begin again? What should I eat? Any other advice? Thanks, Carrie
  3. I worry about that too. I was banded Jan 21, 08 and I found out I was pregnant in August 08. I am now 5 mths. pregnant and I have gained 20lbs. I had lost a total of 60lbs. and I am also nervous about gaining it all back. I can eat anything that I want now. I have 3cc. in my band and I don't have any restriction. I have really taken advantage of that and now I am frustrated. I really started trying to eat right and exercise. It is better for me and the baby. Good Luck!
  4. I am 6 weeks pregnant and I weigh 223. I have lost 60 lbs. in 8 months. I found out that I was pregnant the same day I was getting a fill. I had 7.8cc. in my band and they went down to 3cc. I have been watching what I eat for the past two weeks because I don't have restriction and I want my baby to get healthy nutrients. I also don't want to gain a ton of weight because I am already 223.
  5. Well for breakfast I have oatmeal or a slimfast. Lunch I have a slimfast if I didn't have one for breakfast. I also eat Wendy's chili, chic-fil-a chicken salad or I make my own salad or soup. Dinner is the hardest time for me. I usually have soup or salad with chicken or turkey. Sometimes I just have another shake. Good Luck!
  6. Hey Everyone, I am 32 and I am getting my lapband on Jan 21st. I am in the preop stage right now. So far I have lost 8.5 lbs. in 7days. I am so happy about that! I am getting nervous or anxious. I can't really tell the difference. I just want to do everything correctly.
