  1. Welcome. I too am new and so far I'm loving all the information on here. Good luck with your process and journey to a new you.
  2. I am having surgery on 8/5, had a cruise booking for Puerto Rico for 9/20 that I just canceled. Luckily The deposit wasn't too bad a loss. I would have been only 6 weeks out and not sure how I'd be doing with food and stomach tightness. I thought about taking shakes but wasn't sure how. The liquid form might add weight to my luggage and not sure if powder is allowed on a flight, I am assuming as long as it's sealed it should be fine but who knows. I am considering rebooking in November when I'm 3 months out. Has anyone take protein on their flight, if so what form?
  3. Scheduled for August 4th. Doctor one on one scheduled July 15th and till waiting to be contacted for any testing. Excited and nervous.
  4. My date is scheduled for RNY on August 4th and as thrilled as I am I can't help but feel nervous. I keep changing my mind between the sleeve and the bypass all day long for two reasons. I'm afraid of Reactive hypoglycemia as a possible RNY side effect and not loosing enough weight with the sleeve. I know I'll be fine and that it's probably cold feet. Overall I am excited and thrilled that it's a bit over a month away.
