  1. Dang that Isopure is expensive stuff
  2. All this talk of dating has me feeling light headed.
  3. Color run would be fun but I'm not to sure about breathing in all that powder. Blow your nose and get a rainbow. I would think it is safe though.
  4. Oh yes running is what I am looking forward to also. I use to run a lot I'm my past and now I really miss it. It can boost your energy levels and after I like the satisfying feeling. I have been running/walking as of late and it has helped in my pre op weight loss. I plan on hiking the Superior Trail in northern Minnesota next summer and that will take about three weeks. I am trying to keep all these thoughts in my mind as I go through the next month. I would like to run a 5K with all you someday. You never know.
  5. What thing are you looking forward to after you lose the weight? One of mine is shopping and not having to be limited to just the XXL size and that size has a very limited number in stock. Searching the shelves for the biggest size or looking for just the longest belts is what I want to leave in the past. What about you guys?
  6. Mommamin1 let us know your time. Can't wait to see your progress
  7. Dude I wish you the best. I'm on the 5 th at 10:20. I will try to post on this thread as soon as I can. I am keeping busy too.

  12. I had my pre op today. Monday is coming soon. For those after me I will post the day of surgery. I am not on Facebook so I can't join the secret Facebook page. Good luck to all of you.
  13. Let me tell you it is tough not thinking about the last supper. I need to stay strong this last week.
  14. Let's post here after surgery on how we are doing. I'm one day before some of you so I will post the day after. Good luck to all of us
  15. I am October 5th. Count me in too!
  16. Looks like I will be skipping this holiday. Seems like every holiday has gobs of fattening foods. They are a real good test for self control but this holiday I don't think it will be a problem .
  17. What questions should I be asking in my last meeting before surgery? How long was the wait until the surgery date after meeting with the surgeon? Thanks in advance.
  18. I am glad to hear it went good for you. My gosh you had a lot going on in one time. Let us know how it goes.
  19. I have my last NUT on Monday and my contract review and signing. This has taken more time and mental ups and downs than anticipated. My insurance should cover but will wait to hear back after Monday. Feels good to be getting through the action items. It's been three months and a long journey. I am so thankful for the journey stories on this site. I hope I can do the same soon. One last hurdle is insurance!
  20. Thingirlinsideme: thank you for the encouragement. Going fishing in the boundary waters of Minnesota last week of July. I am on medicine for an ulcer and need clearance from doing an upper GI on August 5 th. hope to have surgery right after. Maybe August 10 th haha
  21. I started my journey on April 29th. On July 6th my doctor will submit to my insurance for approval. This seems to take forever and a day but finally I am getting close. I am wishing for early August also. Once I get the good news like yourself I will be excited for the day to come. I also will get my vacation in just before I hope. Great to hear you are ready to go!
