  1. My surgeon had me stop the pill two weeks before surgery. One month after surgery my pcp consulted with him and I was given the depo shot.
  2. I took shots in the hospital and for seven days at home.
  3. Call your Dr you could have c diff. It's an infection in the go tract that causes severe diarrhea. Hope you feel better soon. Gi tract. Gotta love auto correct lol
  4. Try fat free refried bean with a little reduced fat cheese. Ricotta bake is good also. If you can handle solids I eat Boca burgers. They have 15g of protein. Egg salad is another option. I hope things get better soon????
  5. A fake hamburger lol 15g protein. I put a little reduced fat cheddar on it. It's not to bad. I also like the morning star spicy black bean burgers. Both can be found in the freezer section. It makes for a quick lunch or dinner just pop in the microwave.
  6. Congrats ! I also love wine. I attended a family birthday party yesterday and did not even look twice at the array of appetizers and impressive selection of vino. Not to mention the meats that were being grilled. I ate my Boca burger and drank my crystal light.
  7. It's taken five weeks for me to comfortably sleep on my side. I'm thrilled to be off my back. Good luck to you????

  11. Make sure your getting your fluids in. Chicken broth worked the best for me. If it's really bad call the office and ask for a script for zofran. I had to use it for 3 days. It helps a lot.

  13. I had bypass but I started around the end of March and had my surgery June 10th.

  15. The morning I was discharged is when I started passing gas. I passed gas constantly for about four days. I never noticed it causing pain for me then. I do get gas pains now at 21 days out and I use gas x strips.

  17. I meant to ask if maybe there is more than one Dr in the practice that could see you sooner. September will be here before you know it. I started my journey in March and had my surgery June 10th. It went by pretty fast. Good luck with everything.
  18. Who is your surgeon? Mine is Dr. Spencer in Chesapeake. When is your surgery?
  19. Could you possibly get in with another sleep Dr ?
