  1. I had trouble with hiccups and almost a sucking kind of feeling as well as extra salivation for a few weeks after my surgery. Things all settle down after the swelling goes down in a few more weeks. Good luck this too shall pass.

  3. But I just feel like crying about it. I even went to mcdonalds today and had a fish filet !!! I gueaa my band isn't tight enough or i couldn't have eaten the filet and a sundae. Its like all or nothing for me ..if I slip at all I go on a binge. I feel hopeless tonight. I eed to go out in the kitchen and force myself to have a Protein supplematn drink and get back on track. please god give me strenght I think about food and fight the urge contantly. I feel so bad for drug addicts. I know how they feel
  4. I fell off the band wagon hard. I had surgery Sept 2nd did great , not one cheat. The other night I went to a restaurant with my mother and sister and had a great big salad and then a huge piece of pizza, I am SOOO down that this happened ...now i can't get back in control. I am scheduled for my first fill next week. The past week I have been aware that I don't feel much restriction with the band the way it is. I have lost 29 libs since the week before surgery, I Worked out like a crazy women walking and exersizing every day and now I am like a junkie out of control....I feel like such a failure. help me somebody
  5. Take your protien supplement ( I used vanilla instant breakfast) and stir 1 tsp of sugar free pudding powder. I liked cheesecake ...that really helped...plus I had sugar free Jello and popsicle's. Good luck it can be very hard Take it one minute at a time!

  8. 23 lbs already lost ? Banded for life? How'd you do it? I was banded Sept 2nd. I lost 10 lbs the week before surgery on the liquid diet sp that got me to 240 then I've only lost 16 lbs since the surgery I am walking and I am not eating very much! I am so discouraged Today I had a V-8 and instant breakfast powder mixed with 1% milk a tea and two eggs scramble then an apple for a snack my scale is barely moving!! HELP

  11. I would suggest Glastonbury or west hartford ! Good schools! I am very depressed I have not lost one pound in 5 days ! I have not had any fills. But I am not eating very much ! Instant Breakfast 2times then chicken Jello and a V8. the scale hasn't moved. I just am so afraid to fail at this. How long have you been banded?
  12. Thank you all for the support ! I went for my post op today I lost 18 pounds including the weight I lost the week before surgery. I am having trouble with excessive saliva...I have to keep swallowing a lot AM I crazy?

  14. hi I am from connecticut and new to this site as well I had surgery at St. Francis in Hartford how about you? I just had my surgery Sept 2nd. still have a lot of cramping and gas pain
