  4. Yes, unfortunately. It causes you to have bad breath too, no matter how good your oral hygiene is. My NUT said it is because our bodies are going through ketosis. She said, it gets better, I'm still waiting on it. I just keep some sugar free cinnamon gum on hand at all times and make sure to get all of my fluids in. That helps a little bit.
  5. Take a deep breath and relax. Think of all the health benefits you will gain. Think on how great life will become for you after. It is so worth it to dwell on the positive.

  7. I have cigna. Once I completed all of the requirements , I was approved within 2 days. I didn't have any problems at all
  8. Call your doctor and see if you can have something in addition to liquids. My preop diet consisted of two protein shakes (breakfast and lunch), two pieces of fruit (morning and evening snack) and a light dinner each night. They just might allow you to have something. But either way hang in there. You can do this. The payoff is so worth it.
  9. I'm a few months post-op and I don't have any cravings or hunger at all. It makes it really hard for me to eat. I just have to schedule my meals to remain consistent and make sure I get all of my requirements in for the day.
  10. I pretty much drink my protein shake and water. Every now and then i drink Crystal light. But it is all I can do to get all of my liquids in, so If I try to drink too many things, it just gets to be too much
  11. That is Awesome!! Can't wait to hear about it.

  14. Wow!!! That is amazing. I have not yet built up the courage to join any of the classes at my gym yet. It is a goal though.
