  1. Dear Bostongirlforever: When did you start to eat turkey and chicken? How long were you on full/soft?
  2. Hi everyone - this is the first time I have ever even tried a chat room. I am 14 days post surgery and have been on a liquid diet since May 13th. My surgery was May 27 and I'm being told that I have to continue a liquid diet for another 2 weeks. I cannot do it anymore. I gag at the smell of broth, I gag at the sight of Isopure, Water feels like metal in my mouth and I am hungry. I don't know anyone that has need to be on Clear Liquids for 6 weeks, I am so weak and tired, My friend had her bypass done by a different surgeon and was on full/soft when she left the hospital and is doing fine. I don't want to defy my doctor but I'm not sure what he is thinking. I had an egg today and tolerated ok. I had a little bit of pudding and I was fine. I need to know what type of foods I can eat at this time because I am going forward with the next step. Debbie
