This forum has really made me feel better. I had my surgery on July 21 and lost like 11lbs then 3days ago I gained a pound and have held it there. I was freaking out but I see others have had the same thing so I feel much relief. I realized 1st quit weighing everyday, I need to up my calories from 400 a day to about 600 a day and I am only getting about 40g of protein so I need to increase that. I just started the gym yesterday to get 30mins of treadmill so I will keep doing that and stop stressing. Does this sound about right? Thank you so much everyone for your post they really help.

I had my sleeve surgery 2days ago and trying to drink enough protein when I am not hungry is a challenge but getting better at it. I feel great, every so often I feeling really tired so I have been laying down when that happens. I got in about 3000 steps in today so I am working back up to my 10,000 slowly. I cant wait for the swelling to go down in my belly and see some weight loss.

I am on day 2 of my 10 for my pre-op liquids diet and just bought a juicer because I figured it would be healthier for me. I am very excited to see a forum on just juicing.

My surgery date is July 21st. I have to start the 10day diet on 7/11. Sooooo excited!!

I am soooo excited. I just talked to United Healthcare and I got my approval!!!! They are just waiting on the surgery date from my surgeon. I feel like a weight has been lifted, I have been so stressed this week waiting. Woohoo!

I am excited, I talked to United Healthcare Bariatric Resource Center and they did have my information for surgery, they got it on 6/11 so hopefully I will have a response soon. Finger crossed for a yes!!!

Sugarbabe, I like the Shirataki Noodles vs regular noodles. They make a nice Pasta substitute.

I have a question. I had my last 6mos weigh in and I am waiting on my approval from United Healthcare for my sleeve. But now it seems I am sooo hungry now. I nibble here and there thinking I wont be eating this and that etc. The whole past 6-7months it has not been on my mind. Did anyone else do that--get kinda food crazy at the end :-) ?
