  1. In week 4 I ate peanut butter from a spoon and felt sooo sick! I thought maybe it was too soon. Well, last night I ate some apple slices dipped in peanut butter and oh boy!! I suddenly felt like I had the worst flu ever....for two hours I thought I might die! Anyone else have no-no foods??
  2. Sleeved 4/27/15. Have lost 26 lbs and just coming off a stall that has lasted over two weeks. Have more energy lately but between hear and rain the weather hasn't allowed for walking much.
  3. I got my band in Dec 09 and I lost 40+lbs but then nothing. Band was tight bc like u I would puke probably 3-4 meals a week. At 211 I just felt like I failed though much healthier than 260. I went to Mexico for a revision to gastric sleeve. The sleeve surgery was 5k and I paid an extra $500 for band removal. Best decision! I am 6 weeks or so out and down to 186 pounds. Good luck whatever u decide!
  4. I am 44 days post op. I had a period right before surgery date and nothing since. I am usually regular but have long and heavy periods...so I shouldn't complain. But I am feeling bloated and achy (lower back). Never thought I would say it but I miss my period! Bw constipation, bloating, achy back and the 3-week (and counting) stall I am going insane! I keep going up and down the same pound!!! Any one else???
  5. I am reading so many posts about heavy periods and I was starting to panic. I usually have pretty regular monthly periods which are heavy and last 6-7 days. Had one that ended the day before surgery date of 4/27 and nothing since! Between the bloating and my constipation issues I am a backache and bloated mess! Noted two posts with no period so that is making me less worried but still no relief from symptoms!
  6. I was sleeved on 4/27. I have lost 26 lbs. I think most of us struggle with the protein and water goals to some degree. I hit the stall but it's finally ending I think. My biggest issue is just feeling so tired lately!
  7. Amazing story and thank you for sharing! I was sleeved on 4/27. I hit the infamous week 3 stall and I slacked on following the rules for a moment (nothing major but allowing myself to eat non-protein bites). After reading your story, I realize I need to follow the plan!! Good luck on maintenance though I suspect you won't need it!!
  8. I was sleeved on 4/27 and have felt great other than being tired. I get most of the recommended protein...the liquids are harder for me. My pre-surgery weight was 211 and today 185. I was stalled for the last week and a half but went down ounces the past two days. Happy with the 26lb loss so far. Just wishing I had more energy!
  9. It does get easier! Hang in there. I just try to remember where I came from and how miserable that place could be. Future is looking bright!
