  2. According to the papers my Dr. Gave me the 10 pound limit is to help the the wounds heal for at least 60% and the stomach swelling to be reduced post-op my Dr. is ok with one week however, it all depends on investigation after that period my advice is talk to your Doctor and get more info about why and when is the soonest heal is expected so you don't waste the money for an ultrasound or x-ray

  5. Wow 2 to 3 hours is alot my sleeve was done in 1hr including gallbladder removal.
  6. I had my sleeve done 8 days ago I find it right for my reasons i am morbidly obese + i had gallstones + diabetic, sleeve do attack all of it in one surgery. Since you are researching I would recommend you google UBaloon my brother had it done 30 days ago and lost around 35lbs, however, he have to watch his food closely. Make your choice based on your needs not doctors recommendations.
  7. Doctors will advice you to avoid lifting more than 10lbs for 48hrs and then no heavy lifting in general for 1-2 weeks. As for me, my doctor was keen to give me 29 days sick leave and i am planing to get extra 15 days it will be perfect timing for me even though i am ready to be back to work now just 8 days after the surgery
  8. I think regrets depend on where did you start i am 8 days post op i have a minor regret that i didn't ate some food pre op but my wight lose brings me joy and comfort I was 360.4 lbs 8 days ago now i am 336.6 lbs focus on your wight lose it will bring you comfort
  9. Sorry you got me wrong pre-op i was a food junkie now i am in day 8 post-Op my daily food is 2 water bottles 3 spoons of jelly and 2 camomile tea cups.
  10. I'm sorry that you regretted your op. And I hope you appreciate it down the road. I am food addict as well it's just last week I was able to eat 2 sandwiches + fries + coke today I finish my 1 week of clear liquids post-op and I can't be much happier. U r not that overweight to start with but at least now you can't go down the road of obesity which is ugly. So please be happy for that and half a meal is good ur friends will understand you eventually plus the happiness is not in food but in being round the same table with them.
