  2. Congrats. I have my 3 month in a week. My surgeon has been away so a bit behind . Can't wait for my results . I am hoping to get to 63 kgs. Not sure how much that is in pounds.
  3. Well done. Now the fun begins! Are you in Sydney?
  4. Its nice to hear from someone similar. How are you finding things in general and what is your goal?
  5. Sleeved 26/5. Start weight 93 kgs (205) now 77kgs (169). 36 pounds lost. what an awesome experience.
  6. Good luck. Eill catch up on the other side!
  7. I have an odd issue in that both my calves are equally swollen but only one has vein issues so it will be interesting to see what they look like once I reavh goal. Luckily not a big problem at the moment. Thanks for the advice
  8. Amazing. what an inspiration. Us southern hemisphere people could still go crazy though?
  9. Thanks. I was hoping to get away with not having the surgery. I will be patient see what things look like when I have lost more weight.
  10. I was in hospital two nights, Tuesday and Wednesday and went back to desk job a week later. I had no pain but was tired.
  11. I was on the smaller side and was 93 kgs on the day of surgery. I have lost 16 kgs which I am very impressed with! I am about halfway there. Energy was an issue. I went back to my desk job after a week and I am just now feeling as if my energy is back. I had to change my mindset to think les energy, more weight loss!
  12. I had a similar diet to you and exercised almost every day. It was so frustrating! I am three months out and am halfway to goal. It has really worked for me
  13. I'm a kiwi living in Perth and had my sleeve surgery 26 May. Welcome to the WLS world!
  14. One of the reasons I had the sleeve was for vein issues and swelling in my lower legs. Can anyone please tell me if the swelling goes down when you lose weight? They call my veins incompetent which I think means varicose. They are not visible on the surface. Any advice would be appreciated. Thanks
  15. Every day would drive me nuts. I weigh once a week. Same day, same time, same clothes.
  16. I have found arnica fantastic for bruising and swelling and took the tablets straight after my surgery. The cream is good also for direct appliction to bruising.
  17. This happened to me. It was awful. I am now 11 weeks out an am starting to feel normal again. I am still tired, but certainly not to the extent that I was. I think it is the shock of surgery on the body and not being able to get many calories in
  18. I also burped a lot at the beginning. Now, ten weeks post surgery I know I am full when I burp. I spent years telling my teenage boys not to be so piggy when they burped and now it has come back to bite me!
  19. Well done. You look fantastic
  20. I did a thau cooking class so I could make my own and it's so much easier than I thought it would be.
  21. So much truth for me in this article. Thanks for sharing
  22. I too was a diet coke fiend and had my last few the day before my sleeve. I do miss it and don't dare try it again. It will be a slippery slope to other things I'm sure!
  23. I have only told my immediate family and two work colleagues. I don't think it is anyone's business either. I know some people are curious and have asked me how I am losing weight. I just tell them healthy eating and exercise
  24. I'm living in Perth. Where are you?
  25. Auckland, New Zealand, but currently living in Perth, Australia
