  1. anywho on a more productive note. ive stopped working out. i was stalled at 150 for three weeks. stopped working out last week. kept eating keto and adding more fat and this week i've lost 2lbs so maybe my body just needed a break or needed more fat. all a process of trial and error so this has been the result. not going to work out till maybe next week.
  2. I literally broke down in tears yesterday cuz so many people at work told me I was too skinny. One girl even said I look sickly. Sickly!! I'm 148lbs at 5'3. That's not even close to skinny. I have no idea cuz i have "fat brain" like Karen said. I had to call my dad over just to tell me if I looked sick or not. [emoji24][emoji24][emoji24]
  3. @@jaxmom @Rose1up! @@KristenLe thanks guys. yesterday was a tough day. i think one of the things i find more than anything is that i don't have a person to bounce this off of that knows the answer. what i mean is i have no fucking idea if im small or fat or medium or whatever cuz i have "fat brain" i've never been under 152 in my entire adult life. i don't know if i'm too skinny now or not! all i can go by is BMI or the mirror or if im the size i want or if my pooch is still there or whatever. yesterday i actually had to call my dad over cuz i knew he would tell me the truth bout how i looked i asked my sister, my two best friends and two of my exes (that are friends). smh. one person this week actually told me i looked SICKLY. yes SICKLY. and i think it's cuz i was wearing size 14 pants that are like 3 sizes too big but shit clothes are expensive! but i guess i won't b wearing those again. @@jaxmom my name is because of the dogs. i have an organization and am a big advocate for pit bulls.
  4. I'm just gonna keep posting these until they become funny. Right now they are just annoying. I guess in these people's defense they did know me when I was 80 pounds heavier maybe that's why it seems so shocking to them. Do people not realize this could hurt someone's feelings?? Like I work in a place with 2000 people so I literally hear this like 20x a day. I started to feel like a freak today. I had my dad come over to ask him if I looked too thin. I cried today. This transition isn't as easy as people think. [emoji20][emoji20]
  5. Well even though I've been going through a break up probably drinking more than I should I have been on point with my diet even though I haven't worked out today a monumentous occasion has taken place… In the 140s!!! Woooo! Think I'm shooting for 135 now. Glad to see I can stay on point with my food and still keep losing even if I'm being lazy with the workouts
  6. @@brittanylau same exact thing happened to me. 1. wasn't losing 2. felt like surgery was a mistake 3. was sick daily but you just keep doing the right thing and the weight will come off. you seem to be in the dreaded 3 week stall. don't give up. it will work. just keep going! and make sure you are eating ENOUGH. this was a big issue for me. i added more fat and it's been better for me even at this tail end of my journey.
  7. @@beauty and the beast i actually don't do any refined sugar at all. i will have fruit or stevia/splenda but that's it. i tried some ice cream early on and i got serious dumps so that pretty much took care of it for me.
  8. @@hpa omg right? like i knew i was overweight but i never saw myself as "THAT fat" and then i'd get caught in the background of a photo and be like OMG. but now i kinda have the same problem. I don't see myself as NOT fat yet. so i feel basically the same (fat) unless i see myself in a mirror or a photo. smh. #mindissues
  9. @Rose1up! looking great mama!!!!! @@jaxmom thanks. boys are dumb. i seem to be choosing the same narcissistic asshole now that i'm skinny just as i did when i was fat lol. yah. im kinda giving my body a break i guess tho im still eating well so im still at 150 but i know if i just push a little this week i could be in the 140's and that would be amazing so imma try to get going tonight on the first work out. just so tired physically and emotionally.
  10. Sigh. I feel like I'm really slowing down. Granted I'm going through a break up but that's really no excuse. I only worked out like two times this week and even though I'm eating right and my weight is still 150 I feel like I'm slowing down and I need to re-motivate to get these last 10 to 15 pounds off.
  11. @@numeby2017 she's jealous that's all
  12. @@jersey0601 i think we appreciate it more and maybe regret not doing it sooner.
  13. weird opposite problem. so as ya'll know. when you start losing you start buying new clothes and eventually you get to the point where you're like wtf man how much more on the clothes?? so anyways i bought this jacked in a junior medium thinking if it's small then good cuz then it'll fit me when i'm at ultimate goal whatever that is so here i am wearing this tight ass junior medium blazer which may or may not fit me at my goal weight LOL. #wardrobeissues
  14. @@naturegirl yeah it is really weird. i still see fat "parts" when i look at myself. it's a weird mental transition for sure.
  15. Man. sometimes you see a before photo and you think to yourself, "how did i ever let it get to that point?" motivates me to get these last 10-20lbs off. #transformationtuesday
  16. I paid 11.5k with dr Soong
  17. Honey..I must say your waist is snatched to capacity!...you have an amazing shape. Great work! Thanks Marie! I'm lucky in the waist area. Almost makes up for the icky legs I got lol.
  18. @@goplay94123 i did always have an hourglass of sorts even when i was huge. my waist was my best feature. i can't believe that first photo actually where my stomach is flopping over like that. it's hideous. i haven't waist trained but i might just to make it really small and take the focus off my terrible legs lol.
  19. @@tinkershells believe me at 5'3 - 200+ lbs is big enough LOL
  20. @ so glad you said that. i have been following a pretty strict no carb no sugar diet but when i looked at keto diet plans they have WAY more fats than im eating so im trying to incorporate avocados and almonds etc to raise the fat count.
  21. @@jaxmom thanks! i'll try to keep things as relevant as possible and try not to just rant all the time.
  22. tummy to tummy comparison lol. 81lbs down. the scars are fading nicely. i don't have a lot of loose skin but there are things sagging. i have a small waist but i still have my stupid FUPA my butt, my boobs, some on the arms and inner thighs are saggy too. i did lift weights for most of the journey which i think helped but i need to tone up big time. i will definitely have surgery if i can afford it and im unhappy at the end.
  23. @@Luckygrl well your surgeon is wrong too. i was told most people don't reach their goal weight. that last 20lbs rarely comes off. bs. i reached my original goal and now i'm on my way to 140. it's all within your reach. don't listen to anyone cuz everyone's journey (and body) is different. best of luck to you!
  24. yep. my goal weight was 160 which still left me overweight. i am now 150 and heading to 140. i don't reach "normal" BMI until im at 141 apparently.
  25. @@NewSetOfCurves ok cool. thank you. i might try it cuz im lifting a lot now and i need to keep my Protein up. thanks!
