  1. Thank you! Yes it is very disappointing. It is commonly used & my first month I lost 30 lbs & of course I didn't expect that to continue, so yes the first month I considered that 30 lbs falling off me. Since the first month though I have worked for every pound I feel. I don't feel like I have just sat here & its fallen off me. Lol as far as eating yes that's easier, & no cravings & not wanting to eat that is all easier. But still making sure I am eating my Proteins & staying away from sugars & carbs etc & keeping Water in & Vitamins etc .... I say its work... Not hard but I am not just sitting on the couch and getting skinny lol. ????????
  2. I keep waiting for my weight to just fall off me. When some say that, yes I get it is a figure of speech. But how fast could they be speaking of? My Doc & NUT says no more than 2-3 lb a week if that.... I workout, don't cheat AT ALL, drink Water, drink Protein, eat protein.... I am doing all the right things. I wouldn't say its "slow" I am at 2 lb a week. But I notice my scale does a lot of back and forth too... Ughh .. Which I know could be water or hormones etc. But I want to know about the people who said oh you grow put of pants so fast etc... I am fitting in smaller jeans now yay... But not finding that they are getting looser & looser lol... I just envisioned these incredible shrinking people & I am not that person. Am I alone on this thought? Lol
  3. Oh heavens no!! I love sweets too, but cakes, cookies, candy etc are no longer a part of my life either. I kissed those goodbye when I decided to start my pre op diet and be serious about my surgery and my new life. I meant snacks like protein snacks lol
  4. Wow best compliments ever!!!!!! You rock!!!! I need to take you everywhere I go!!!! Thank you so much doll!!!! ❤❤❤❤
  5. Thank you... I appreciate it. Now I need my head to catch up I guess
  6. Here is my before surgery & the full length is yesterdays pic. I loved my outfit, I didn't think my thighs looked that massive still. I think maybe its because they were up in front of the other.... But clearly still large! I think my face looks big still... Yet Saturday I took a selfie in my car as my hubby was driving & you can see the other pic, mh face looks much thinner there than it does in the full length pic. So I don't get it. I have posted on the before & after forum & get hardly any feedback, so I stopped posting there lol. I think that forum is for the true extreme before & after pics. Slight difference pics don't get much feedback I think in my opinion.
  7. Yes it is brutal!! It makes me just want to cry!! The only good thing this side of surgery is I won't eat bad now. So even though I feel & think bad now, I won't turn to bad food to console myself by saying "screw it!" Like I used it.
  8. I guess I haven't seen anyone really that knows me.... Well my neighbors don't say anything. My husband does of course and that makes me feel good. I left my old job so I don't see who I worked with before surgery to hear the after compliments. My family all live out of state, so its hard because I have no one to loom at me & just drop the "OMG YOU LOOK FANTASTIC" compliments etc .... My hubby tells me but he is not an overly gushy guy with compliments. So I only have myself & the mirror and mental strength to go on. Some days just get harder than others.
  9. Since my preop diet started in May I have lost a total of 82 lb. I was sleeved on July 21. I feel great mentally & physically. I have been working out & having NSV'S etc. Today however, I felt good, felt thinner than I looked I guess! My hubby took a pic of me & I looked & I about fell over! Fatness all over again! I haven't gained, I HAVE NOT CHEATED, NOT ONCE. I just mentally thought I looked thinner than I did! My own mental image of myself was better than what the camera showed me!!!! WTF!!!!!!!!! I am supposed to want to show off pics now, not hide them like I used to. Has this happened to anyone? ????????
  10. Very good point, if you really think about it now a days just about everything has someone saying IRS bad for you in one way or another. Thank you for all your help. I appreciate it ????????
  11. I was sleeved in July. I will call my NUT & ask her too ????????
  12. Oh this just plain out right sucks! This is clearly not towards anyone here...just my frustration. I have no issues with cutting out all bad foods etc to maintain the lifestyle we choose for this surgery & weight loss. Now to say you basically can't even mimic the sweet taste at all, if you do, you are poisoning yourself little by little. I wish I was one of the lucky few who came out of surgery thinking everything was too sweet for me! I wouldn't want friggin splenda in my damn cold brew tea anyway then. This really pisses me off.
  13. I have tried one of them before and I don't remember which one it was, but it was not just a sweet taste, it has a more offensive taste to it to me personally. I wish I remember which one it was I tried, Truvia or Stevia. I want something that will taste sweet & not put on weight like real sugar will please
  14. I love watermelon too & its a good way to get water in. Can we have it?
  15. Love the idea of the sliced cucumbers! Never thought of that! Thank you! Can we have watermelon? Can we have watermelon? I love watermelon!
  16. Yes I love cheese too!! Lol my go to also
  17. What do you eat for a snack after dinner? Or any Snacks at all? I get bored of same things. Thanks ????????
  18. Awesome, thank you!! ????????
  19. I wish after surgery I thought things were too sweet like I hear many say. I still like to enjoy my cold brew tea & I add splenda. Love it. My NUT says splenda is okay... But I always like to hear your opinion too.
  20. That's a really good point! Thank you. Will help me not beat myself up. Thank you ????????
  21. I worked out in gym with weights for an hour today ???????? .... thank you. Its so scary to think I can ruin it all for myself.
  22. Yesterday, Thanksgiving, I did fantastic! I have been SO GOOD since surgery in July. Yesterday I had a few bites of stuffing. I didn't beat myself up because I am so so good all the time & it literally was a few small bites & I stay VERY LOW on carbs anyway. Then tonight, getting my husband a plate of leftovers, I DID IT AGAIN!!!!! WTF!!!!!! I took a few bites! NOW I WANT TO KICK MY OWN ASS!! OMG I am down 80 lb so far total since pre op diet.... WHY DID I GIVE IN?????????? THATS HOW I GOT FRIGGIN FAT IN THE FIRST PLACE! well then I baked Peanut Butter Cookies for my husband... And YAY I WAS EXCELLENT!!!!! DID NOT HAVE A DAMN THING. I REFUSE TO SELF SABOTAGE. So why did I eat those few bites of stuffing tonight? ???????? do you think it will put weight back on me?
  23. Please let me know how it all is! I am getting bored of the same old things ????????
  24. Those are awesome! Thank you!
