  1. Best of luck, bvenegas. The first few days are a little rough, but manageable! You will do great!
  2. I have one too. It is like a big chunk out of there. It is funny.
  3. I cant do yogurt or anything not clear yet. I have really struggled to get fluids in, but I am trying
  4. I have been peeing a good bit since surgery on Tues the 26th. I think it is due to all the iv fluids too. Yesterday got in 38 oz fluid and 4 oz jello. Today I have done 11 oz water, 8 oz broth, 10 oz sugarfree powerade so far. The broth seems the kindest. Warm feels nicer than ice cold.
  5. Coughing is actually pretty ok, makes sure lungs are clear. My tummy is very loud too. I am thankful though that I can feel the restriction. Warm better than cold right now
  6. Hang in there. This sounds weird, but try moving your tummy gently, rubbing it, gently. See if the gas will move down a little. When I go to pee, I bend over gently and the gas moves some. See if this helps any. Prayers for you.
  7. I don't do the codeine, makes me nauseous. Just the tylenol, but it REALLY helps a lot.
  8. Try getting liquid tylenol. The pain mads made me sick too. See if walking helps too. Once the gas starts moving it feels lots, better.
  9. I am feeling about 70 percent today. Moving around, showered, walking some.
  10. I was sleeved Tuesday. Am getting stronger and beginning to feel better. I got in 32 oz of liquid, 4 oz protein shake, and 4 oz jello yesterday. It took 15 hours, but I am working to get to at least 64 oz liquid per day like the md wants.
  11. I turned corner today and had a tremendous amount of gas pass. That helped with pain a ton.
  12. Turned the corner today. Was sleeved Tuesday. Really struggled with nausea and dry heaves, but have figured out the pain meds were making it much worse. Have been doing much better drinking today.
  13. Yay B 52! So glad you found your right spot!
  14. Stay ahead of the pain. It makes resting easier.
  15. Nausea has been really rough. Got to discharge. Am peeing quite a bit.
  16. Good for you!! Ready to be on the other side too.
  17. Thanks for advice about cold stuff! Getting toes done. Trying to keep busy til tomorrow!
  18. We are kindred sleevers Navy! I am tomorrow too. We will do great!
  19. At Scott and White hospital in Temple, Texas
  20. May 26 for me too. Almost here!
  21. I have lost over 21 pounds so far and have surgery Tuesday the 26th. I am on liquids
  22. Well, we are actually losing quite a bit of fluid on the pre op diet. I am having to go quite a lot too, but at least I'm getting it out! Do not feel as bloated as I did.
  23. Ashley, congratulations on your decision. Maggie, self pay is much quicker. Less than 2 months for me. Miss Mac, you have done great!!! Everfeels, hope they get your band sorted.
