  1. Awesome! I love it!
  2. Just had a really good NSV. Walking to a store with my family, I noticed us all in the mirrored windows and had to do a double take. I didn't even recognize myself. ???? sleeved June 24th 2015
  3. Thank y'all I am going to put the scales away.
  4. I am three weeks out and I have heard that some people have a stall during this time. I am experiencing this now. How long does it last? And is there anything I can do to jump start the process? I am only taking in about 400-500 calories a day. I can't do much exercise because I ripped a stitch a few days ago on my left side which is very painful and doc says I need to take it easy for the next couple weeks and heal. Any information is helpful. Thanks!
  5. I was sleeved 6/24. Trying to think of rewards as well for when I meet goals. I think 20lbs is a great amount to lose for each reward. I've lost 35lbs so far and have 85 to go. I told hubby I wanted to go on a dream vacation when I hit goal. ???? I told him we could afford it since we will be meal sharing for the rest of our lives.
  6. I am right with you. I am six days out too and it is a struggle to "eat" anything and by eat I mean drink and by drink I mean clear fluids which right now I would rather just not. I am forcing myself to do this today. It is just a little while longer. I am planning on eating some tomato soup when I can move to full liquids on Thursday. I am going to chew my vitamins now which I am sure will be the highlight of my day. LOL!
  7. I am 5days out too and same problem. Not too worried though doctor just said to keep my fluids up.
  8. Doing my pre-op checklist. Making sure everything is ready to go in the morning????
  9. I am getting so nervous. Praying that I have the strength to do this for the rest of my life. Any good advise?
  10. I am on day seven just switched from full liquids to clear for the next 7 days. Just took my kids thru Mcdonalds and GOD KNOWS I feel weak but i was strong enough for that moment. A random thought ran through my head... Is this how thin people feel all the time? Or is the empty feeling just me?
  11. Ear stapling was the stupidest thing I ever did. Painful and dumb. I could kick myself for that one.
  12. Thank you both for your comments. I sat down with my kids and husband tonight and really talked about how this will change not just my life but theirs as well. I am thanking God for their support.
  13. Surgery date is 6/24. Started pre op diet today. There is a lot going though my head. Am I ready? Can I do this and do it forever? I have always failed in maintaining. There is a lot to consider. Everyone I talk to says it is the best decision they ever made but it is a hard road. In my mind there is no going back. Can you give me some of your thoughts that helped you get thru?
  14. Thanks, I hope I hear something this week. I am so ready!
  15. I have been waiting for the insurance company to give the final authorization for my surgery. How long did it take for you?
  16. I love your video. Thank you for sharing. I am waiting for my surgery date, hopefully in the next month. I'm excited to see how your progress goes. Good luck you're gonna do great!
  17. I am 43 and am waiting for that final call for the surgery date.
