  2. I was told not to use anything at all due to the risk of infection. But have great skin and now i cant find them. 4 years out
  3. Can i persuade a doc who is using staples to use glue??? I wonder
  4. Thank and wishing you the best of luck! Are you still banded?
  5. Hi there Gaining weight quite rapidly with the band... When (mean what weight or bmi) did you start thinking about revison? I am self pay. Lost 6 stones and gained 2 back over the summer. Banded for 4 years Thanks

  8. Hi there I am thinking of revision surgery as i dont like my band and sick a lot. But my bmi is about normal now... 25-27 Has anyone done revision with mormal bmi? I am self pay. Thanks
  9. You have to have an x ray to check if your esophagus is dilated or not. I had a complete unfill 3 months ago (4mls taken out). But one month ago 2mls was added Stayed the same weight
  10. Just to reassure you, not everyone gains weight after complete unfill. all of 4mls was taken out of my 10ml band on 27th April, and since than (even after holidays) I weigh exactly the same!!!
  11. I know of a few peeps who do their own fills and I know of a nurse who sells needles lol Even found needles on EBay
  12. Thank you KateP, spoken to a surgeon, unfortunately even the doctor's choices are limited if patient has problems. It might well be that scar tissue is building up which means that the band has to come out at a later date. Apart from getting it completely unfilled docs cant do anything about it.
  13. Hi there My band was emptied 3 weeks ago due to reflux issues (x ray was normal before Fluid removal) and now band is tight and I have been sick a few times and have unpleasant too tight feeling. Has anyone experienced this? Should I be concerned? Never had an empty band before, 4mls was put in during surgery. I am 3 1/2 years out. Thanks
