  1. You are NOT ALONE! It's a slippery slope because if you don't get fluids in, you'll end up hospitalized for dehydration faster than you can snap your fingers like I did.At the same time, you're getting used to this new way of taking tiny sips that I must say was difficult for me and still is and I'm 11 days post op. I did find that premier protein shakes go down easier as well as sugar free Popsicle for some reason. Something is better than nothing. Let's just hang in there and put forth great effort because the results are sooooo worth it!
  2. Good luck Kat332015! I hope today flies by fast for you! It's sooo exciting that tomorrow is your big day! I'm 11 days post surgery and I feel great! Time is just flying now!!
  3. Good luck next week! I'm in Georgia and I just had my bypass on 05/05/15 I feel fantastic and am ready for these lbs to start coming off. Heads up you will see a weight gain after surgery depending on how anesthesia and IV fluids affect you but don't worry cause it's temporary
  4. I just had my gastric bypass done by Dr Robert Richard on 05/05/15 in his Duluth location . He's awesome!! Not even a week out and I feel great. Now just waiting for my loss to start progressing.
