It may have taken you a bit longer, but let me tell you that you look AMAZING!!!! Beautiful and fit and really fantastic. I can't wait for one year to roll around so I can post these types of pictures.
Way to go Erato!!! I am feeling alright, a bit sore but to be expected post op day 2. My surgeon was Dr. Richard Englehardt with BMI of Texas. He was great, fixed a small hiatal hernia and did the sleeve. He even cleaned up a little internal scar tissue from my appendectomy last year.
I am feeling very hopeful at this point. I need to get my Fluid intake up, and hopefully the hydrocodone liquid will stop making me nauseous lol. How is everyone else?
The gas pains have gotten way better, wahoo! Just got taken off my morphine and fluids pump so I have to up my intake of water big time. I'm the same as you guys were saying, burping fine but the other end nothing is happening :/ the nurse said I need to do that before I can be discharged.
Hello fellow San Antonians! I was sleeved yesterday at North Central Baptist. Great facility by the way!! Good luck to you all, you'll be great. It feels weird being on the other side.
Hi all! Had my surgery yesterday afternoon, and am up and alert today. On the gas pains, yes they are terrible!!! Last night I was having gas in my chest and though I was having a heart attack. Rapid heart rate and shortness of breath but my bloodwork was all fine.
Today the chest pains are gone and I'm walking a lot. I'm still sleepy, and I think will be discharged tomorrow!
My date is June 10th as well, and I fell off the wagon of the weekend on my 2 week preop diet I am happy to say I'm back on it full time and happy about that! You got this! What I do is call my best friend anytime the hunger feels overwhelming and tell him that I need to be talked down. We can do this
