  5. Totally agree... with regard to the amount you are eating, try not to eat more. at this stage according to my nutritionist I should be able to eat 4 ounces, so I measure my food. I don't wish to stretch my sleeve which is possible to do. Check with your nutritionist and see what their plan is for you and measure. Idk if we can really rely on "feeling full" anymore.Good luck! I have these 4 ounce containers that I use. I meal prep and they come in handy
  6. I'm eating things like tuna, eggs, grits, chicken, pulled pork, veggies, things like that. 4 ounces is a half a cup which is what my plan calls for. Depending on the food I can tolerate more. Like an egg, I can only eat one....if I eat grits I can eat almost a.cup
  7. Ok. I am 4 weeks post op as of two days ago. The day of my surgery I weighed 311. Today I weighed 295. That's 16 pounds in 32 days. Is that average? Also I have been 295 for 2 weeks now. I'm stuck. Will this pick up. One more ? before I go, sometimes I can only eat 4 ounces and I'm stuffed and other times I can eat way more...is this also normal?
  8. I'm 3 weeks post op today....I stalled over a week @ 305 and got down to 297 and now I'm stalled again
  9. I just wish I could loose as fast as I gain lol
  10. I do anywhere from 500 to 700 cals
  11. I do a protein shake in the morning....then for meals I do grits and tuna mainly. I don't mind eggs but they hurt a little. I cooked pinto beans and froze several 4oz containers. Beans were yummy lol. Sugar free pudding. That's about it
  12. My Dr told me he's not concerned with any weight loss until I'm 6 weeks post op. It's just hard to listen when your stuck at the scale. What foods do you eat right now?
  13. Oh ok...Yea that's me too. When I went in I weighed 311. The day I got discharged I weighed 316. Almost instantly I dropped to 305....been there the last 3 weeks
  14. Lol....It definitely gets easier. I was back in my bed sleeping on my side and belly about a week out. Today I have absolutely no pain. I can drink large amounts with no pain and I can eat about 4oz with no issue. I'm on my puree week and I live off of my protein shakes, grits, sf pudding, and the individual tuna packs. The tuna is a little heavier than the grits so I can only eat a 2 oz pack. I had a half of biscuit with gravy yesterdAy and I thought I was gonna die lol....didn't agree with the choice I made but damn it tasted good lol....
  15. Have you lost any weight since the surgery....I have stayed the same and it's starting to irritate me
  16. I had my surgery on the 27th as well. The second and third day was the absolute worst. There is no way your going to get 8oz down at a time. They say to try and drink every 15 minutes. I used gas x strips for the first 2 weeks for the gas and didn't have a bm for about 5 days. I still don't have one everyday and constipation is a constant issue. Good luck to you.
  17. Nope....only cheAted one time and I got me a mini blizzard. I ate like 5 bites and that's it.
  18. Only complaint I have is I still haven't lost one pound and it's been 3 weeks
  19. I am finally three weeks today and doing great. I can drink anything with no problem and I started soft foods yesterday. I can eat one egg or 2 oz of tuna before my body tells me it's time to stop.
