  1. Thank you for giving me the eye opener I went to my refridgerator and through all the good stuff out did not care I want to get back on track I only gained a few pounds but that is enough back to the basics thanks

I hear what your saying about the poo I get backed up too, but my problem is trying to get back to the basic so I can lose I gained 10 lbs horrible I cannot lose it what should I do I don't eat I drink a lot of Water I don't urinate a lot but I am drinking my eating habits are mostly sugery but I am trying to stop the sugar you think if I stop eating sugery items I will lose again I was thinking about a tummy tuck what do you think how can I get back on track scared I did a bmi its says overweight which I lost 80 lbs in less than a year now I gained 10 lbs do not want to gain anymore what should I do....

    Craving! Help!

    if you want it bad enough go ahead but you will not do well with any acid foods if your procedure was done correctly you should not be having any cravings until the 8th month all I can think about was getting water down and not being hungry I lost 80 lbs in 7 months I am at a plateau and look awesome eating salsa I tried its still sitting in my refridgerator about 4 months now I get a craving I have a bite I put it down or throw away and don't think about it I know its around for me it just makes me throw up or gives me a stomach ache good luck on your journey and choosings

    Overwhelmed with food choices

    why eat on a break just have a yogurt at lunch or half sandwich then I stopped eating around 5pm nothing after that food is not important if your hungry just some protein will work

    just remember your goal and don't eat besides if you do you will probably throw up because your new stomach is only ready for liquids right now it will get easier after about 4 or 5 months but at that time you will probably only eat baby food puree baby food is what taste the best, blending yourself never could find the right smoothness then you usually go with the Protein shakes I did that for about 8months I lost 80 lbs very very happy exercise I gave myself the best gift a new life and I will not I mean never go back to being fat heck no I look fantastic and feel fantastic I go to orangetheory and work my butt off too wear the little clothes size 10-12 use to be 18-20 252-172 stand at 5'11 tomorrow morning 5:30am gym best workout early before work good luck don't sweat
  6. that is a lot wow for me I could not eat that at all I had to buy baby food heat up in microwave that was the only food I could swallow or keep down with throwing up anything to heavy came right up good luck

    that happen to me the old habits were sneaking back in I just had to make a choice gain weight or stopped the old habits and start with what I had done a year ago I had my surgery in apr2015 but lost 80 lbs because I always ate like a bird and use more calories then what I eat so if you want to lose stop all the nashing stop all the sugar stop all the ice cream and cake if you have to have it once every two weeks until you see your self dropping and exercise more I will not let myself be more than 175 lbs I am 5'11 and now a size 10-12 pants shorts a dress I refused to be a 18 - 20 ever again some times I forget to eat no big deal drink Water lot more if you can't no big deal food to me is just a necessity but very very little portions I might have a bite of a piece steak or hamburger and leave it too take home or wait ten minutes for the next bite depend who I am with I never never never eat macdonalds or any fast foods no fried foods either like I said I eat like a bird and very happy with the results gooduck

    Poop problems

    trust me we all went through what you are experiencing I called my doctor I was so scared they prescribe something don't recall what because instead I drank prune juice yuk but I pooped then another 4 or 5 days went by pooped again stayed on liquids and I lost double digits each week because I followed to the tee what the paper said to do each week one year later I lost 80 lbs I gain a pound lose a pound no big deal as long I don't go up I am happy I went to the gym the first day after the hospital walk half hour for two months then the other half hour I rode the bike two months before I started to jog because my stomach was still adjusting plus I a eat today like a bird which I do not miss food I save on money I eat one yogurt in the morning no coffee until one year lunch for me was early I quit eating at 4 or 5pm but pooping will come naturally you will see no big deal plus every time you poop you poop what you eat good luck

    lets see when you got home you didn't drink I know when I got home in the morning I relax and had broth or what ever they told me this is going back a year but the next day I exercise sometimes twice a day I was off from work for a month to two months off just to make sure I don't lift anything too heavy so 6 days not too of lost anything I be upset I usually lost at least 10 lbs twelve lbs a week because I moved around more than what I put in my mouth I was too scared to mess up good luck if I were you I start moving more and more laundry clean house buy a big dog go for runs after the stitches come out
  10. wow did you have that test in the hospital the endoscopy to see if the staples were in correctly and to make sure no leaks, it sounds rough your drinking way too fast no cottage cheese just thinking how you are sabotaging yourself is making me sick slow down you are not hungry just bored go for a walk but first join orange theory the best place to meet and exercise more than the calories you take in the less you will eat its in your mind you want to change you did change now live the change stop just drink broth, Water its hard a year later for me is hard to drink water but I started at 252 I am now 179 was 18-20 now 10-12 I refused to eat if I am going to put weight on paid for the sleeve out of my 401 good luck

    Is egg drop soup ok?

    it is fine too have egg drop if you can keep it down try a spoon full walk away come back do it again just don't sit and eat it all to this day one year later I cannot go to a Chinese restaurant and eat a 4 course meal do I miss sometimes but I am happier with my new body more so being called fat or people dishing you I rather not eat the 4 course meal as far the egg drop soup check calories and exercise more than the calorie intake.

FIRST OFF EXCUSE THE LINE I DON'T KNOW HOW TO GET RID OF THIS LINE So what to do to lose more weight I lost my weight from speed walking at orange theory every day maybe twice a day and use more calories so when I ate or I should say drink no eating for me I lost 10 to 15 lbs week for 5 months I lost a total of 80 lbs and feel awesome a year later I am maintaining my weight I am still 179 sometimes 182 but never more than that if I lose I lose in the stomach I have no hips lost my boobs but that's ok wear a push up bra as long as I am still a 10-12 in a dress or jeans I am ok do I eat I nibble on chicken or lamb chops broth Soup is good I do not go to macdonalds or any fast foods do not think about it either my sleeve is the most important thing in my life and being skinny no more people calling me fat especially men at work snickering it is a whole different world for me and I still exercise every day because if I want something I have to make sure I work it off and lose a pound or two that day

  14. one other thing Water still to this day one year later cannot drink water I try but it just does not get any better I hope you have better luck found out water is very important but I drink as much as I can I need to brush up on it as well I try every day I wake up I tried sipping that works but I get busy no way I can finish a bottle in a few minutes like I use to sometimes I will drink to fill myself. I am never in the mood to cook so something liquid I mean water is really the only thing I have in the house if I add to the water is crystal light or mio I don't dare to drink any carbonated drinks it hurts my stomach once in the blue moon one cup coffee but with sweet n low and milk not black I am sort of a blan eater but may be because I lost 80 pounds in less than a year and exercise every day I went from 252 to 172 size 18-20 to 10-12 I am 5'11 and very active I have one horrible problem and that is peripheral neuropathy which I hope you don't have pain and numbness cramping in my feet . good luck with your journey and don't worry follow what you think will be good for you, have fun your going to love it I do .
  15. fluids is it and I was ok with that because I did exactly what the doctor prescribed at that time besides if I ate anymore I throw up so fluids was it broth Soups Protein drinks yogurts with the most Proteins anything solid was out could not swallow without throwing up immediately walking as possible food to me was just a necessary item so fluids was fine plus my food bill cut down a lot yayyyyy

    April 15th!

    mine was last year on the 15th the best I feel and look good luck to all I started out at 252 ending is 172 from size 18-20 to size 10-12 happy very very happy I have a hard time still keeping certain foods down and I definitely stop eating at 5pm only Water which is fine sometimes I still have dumping syndrome but that is my own fault trying to eat more which only because I am hungry or the food is there I try to eat it all at once which is bad, the only advice I can give is as soon as you leave the hospital walk on treadmill or out side for one hour just walk oh yeah there is flab but keep exercising it won't hurt as much when you look in the mirror physical work will tighten the muscle but you have to work for it, two months ago I got on a sugar binge which is very bad but I was full terrible habit I am breaking that habit now because I do not want to gain I am totally scared to gain any weight. I eat a lot of yogurt lamb chops turkey deli rolled up no bread at all no Pasta pizza half slice from whole foods only I find I can only eat foods from whole foods or the fresh market, I hope you all make it you all sound excited also go to the support meetings wonderful. for Protein extra protein I use Proteinex from amazon p18 or p 100 I put it in my cherry yogurt from oikos I go to Vitamin shoppe get banana bites good for potassium love them small bag $1.99b 400mgs Vitamins chewable for me and nascobal b12 then I have chewable b12 and b complex Multivitamin chewables just as good as what the doctors office uses

    Scared because I cheated

    i am surprise you didn't throw up if your going to cheat you better go walk every day until you lose at least 40 lbs once you lose the 40 now your ready to run burn more than you eat. I had the sleeve done in April 2015 today i am 80 lbs less i went from a size 18 to 10 or 12 depending the cut of the jeans i don't have the perfect diet but its not a diet its a change of eating i exercise every day i burn at least 400 to 500 calories a day i don't even eat that much i drink alot of water don't like water put crystal light in it helps i eat alot of yogurt most protein i find a health shop that makes protein drinks, still not good with solids my last meal is at 4pm i dont eat after 7pm why i am just laying around watching tv or going to sleep just to get up for work plus if i have too full of stomach i need to purge so too overeat is not worth the crappy feeling. lighten up relax .

I am still not able to keep full meals down all I eat is yogurt, and junk food but I exercise and the weight falls off but the correct nutrients are not being absorb am I hurting myself with not eating full Protein meals will my organs shut down I do take supplements and Vitamins and I do drink Water. no real protein I lost to date 70lbs which is awesome i just feel as though i am missing something at the dinner table.

    Thanks everyone for the great advice, went shopping bought veggies and fruit not a lot of fruit cuz I know myself, I now discarded all candy, ice cream, and the cake I decided to take the advice of a bariatric pal I was sabotaging and for what purpose, so I cut it out immediately thanks friend,
