  2. I am 10 months post op. I was able to tolerate food fairly early also. Just be careful that you don't eat until you're full because you will stretch your stomach out.
  3. Went to the doctor today. He said it's more than likely because I'm low on iron. Blood work done, waiting on the results.

  6. I was sleeved on August 20th 2014, and I freeze so easy. It can be 75 degrees outside and if there is a breeze, I'm freezing. Had anyone else had this issue? Does your body regulate itself? How long does it take?

  16. I lost hair like crazy after my surgery. My doctor told me to take biotin vitamins and it has helped tremendously
  17. I had my surgery on 8-20-14.ive had my ups and downs, but it was the best decision I've ever made. I didn't realize how much of my confidence I didn't have. I feel amazing! I have a ton of energy. A year ago, I would have never walked into a gym...now it's a daily thing. I also didn't realize how poisonous my relationship was until I started doing better for myself. I was told I was selfish and I look horrible when I lost weight. Let's just say, I ended that after 5 years of abuse and having food shoved in my face because he wanted me to be fat, so no one else would be interested in me. I encourage anyone to do this surgery. I use to look at it as a cheating way out.. But this was a hard decision to make, but truly one of the best! I started out at 267, size 24 jeans and 2x shirts... Now I'm 180,size 10 jeans and a medium shirt!!

  19. As the title says, I can't believe how much better I feel. I've always been over weight. My highest weight was 267, at 24 years old. I was I'm a abusive relationship because I didn't feel I deserved better. After a lot of tears and pain, I got the strength to walk away and do something good for myself. For my 25th birthday, I gave myself the best birthday present yet, my surgery. On August 20th, 2014, my life changed for the better.
