Has anyone taken up Bycyling?
it helps but i don't think it counts. a good workout on a staionary bike is go hard, as fast as you can for a minute, then cruse for a minute. Hard then cruse. Push yourself.

It's a head thing not a hunger thing
I'll agree. The Band only makes it harder to live our lives in the manner that we did before the bad. I doesn't make it impossible. I have the same struggles that you are facing. Hang in there.

7 ccs and I need some advice
I didn't get to restriction until I reached 9cc's. That was two years ago and I still feel good with it. Fill that puppy up if you have to. You didn't go through all the trouble to get the band to not use the it to the fullest of it's capacity.

Has anyone taken up Bycyling?
This week has been better than last. I have been trying to get on the trainer but that thing is tourturous. I have been easing back into it. I have been walking on the treadmill and lifting weights some. Got good and sore Monday feeling better today though. I hope some of you are also making strides, or at least back to the baby steps. It is disheartening to think about the amount of work it will take to get back to where I was last time I posted on here.

Training for a triathlon...
I hope you guys haven't give up. I am a long way from being ready for a tri but you guys are motivating. I have been riding my mountain bike a little and have my road bike on the trainer. When I get some more weight off I'll try to start running. I have a little holiday gainage to deal with but I feel like I'm back on track.

I wish I wouldn't Have!
Has everyone given up or just given up on this thread. I have been eating better and trying to get with it again without going nuts. I have been trying to help coach my son's little leauge football team and that takes up a lot of time that I was using to exercise. I went out in the middle of the day today and rode my bike 10 miles. It was the first time that I had rode in a long time and it wasn't too bad. Now for the bad news. I got on the scales today and had lost only 6 pounds in the last month. I guess that is to be expected considering my recent eating habits. Hope all of you guys are seeing some success. Let's keep pulling for each other. Thanks for all the kind words. BRAD
