Looking to meet people in SA on this same journey past , present or future. I have my first apt this week and I am scared and excited all at the same time ! I am seeing Dr Peterson at UT Medicine , I like to know who y'all went with in San Antonio also ?

I would like to meet some others from SA that are on this journey and or already had the sleeve. I have my first apt this Thursday with Dr Peterson. Has anyone else gone to him and if not who would you recommend ? I am a little scared but mostly excited for this journey!

Wow that's awesome! I am waiting for my first apt. My insurance don't require a diet before hand so hope it goes quickly.

How long did it take for approval ?

How long did the process take from the time you decided on vsg to actual surgery date ? I called insurance and there is no pre diet requirements . I did a seminar and I am waiting for dr to call me back to make my first apt.

I am waiting for my first appointment. All my insurance requires is a psy. Apt. Does anyone know about how long it took them before approval and surgery date ?
