  1. I was sleeved on the July 13 and I've been in a stall for over a week. Actually it says I went back up a pound so I feel your pain:/ ! However I am told it will get better and I get between 400-600 cal a day right now and 60-80 grams protein
  2. I am almost one week post opt . I went into surgery at 315lb , left hospital at 321lb from all the IV fluids . I still weight 319. I don't know what to do , shouldn't I have lost more by now ?
  3. Surgery went great. In pain and trying to get fluids in but I know it's all worth it

  7. I have united healthcare I had no required diet. From start to surgery date which is in a week it will have been around 3 months . They pay 90% and I'll have to pay 10%
  8. Start my pre- opt liquid diet tomorrow ! Surgery in 2 weeks !

  13. Yea I have gone to support group twice now and ramp once. I believe it's a vital part of my success to come.
  14. Everything went good . It wasn't scary at all and went by quickly:)
  15. I will for sure keep you posted. The endoscopy is my last thing before asking for approval. Pre-approval has already been made so I am hoping no later then mid July or maybe sooner. My husband will be going with me so I have him by my side through all of this which is nice. However it is always wonderful to meet new friends who are on the same journey. Oh and dr raj is awesome
  16. I searched out a few doctors and to me he seems to be the best. I have my endoscopy tomorrow
  17. In order to do so I started a blog. I have my finale apt before getting surgery date this Tuesday. I am curious as I have the blog how I change through the process of surgery and weigh loss , my outlook and my emotions.   18. Hi I have my endoscopy Tuesday June 9th then on to surgery date for end of June or beginning of July . Anyone else in San Antonio area that wants to be my sleeve buddy ?
  19. I am about a month away from surgery:) but I need advice for pre-op diet and post op liquid diet. I'd like to know what protein did people use ? Broths ? Other foods ? Ideas ? Thanks in advance for any advice given, I appreciate it.
  20. Protein ice drinks 42g protein and Taste like punch kinda.
  21. I almost used dr Patel but decided to go with dr Peterson edg is June 7th and then off to surgery a few weeks later . Hopeful for June
