  1.    MrsKarenC2008 reacted to a post in a topic: Cramps ... ugh.
  2. Mine get so bad that I was prescribed Tramadol. Thankfully I usually only need it 1-2 days a month. My menstrual cramps are much worse since surgery.
  3. Does anyone else find themselves continuing to buy clothes that are too big? I always think they look ok in the dressing room....but when I get home I realize I should have gotten a smaller size. Am I just used to baggy clothes? It seems strange to wear tighter clothes. I started out a 24 and am buying 18's but probably need 16's. How do I get outside of my own head?
  4. Happy Friday everyone! How did you all go about progressing from eating 2 oz to eating 3 oz? Did u just gradually eat more until u felt the discomfort? Did you start with slider foods? I don't want to push myself but I don't want to be stuck at 2 oz because I'm afraid. Thank you
  5. Similar thing happened to me when I was 2 weeks post op. I was scrubbing the kitchen floor and when I tried to get up I felt like I ripped something in my stomach. My Dr said I pulled an internal suture. I didn't damage anything but I had horrible if I coughed or bent over for about 2 weeks afterwards
  6. thank you for your quick reply! I will try that
  7. Hello all. I am almost 4 weeks post op. Yesterday I ate some pureed chicken that didn't agree with my pouch. The tight, painful feeling lasted about 30 minutes but since then my esophagus and pouch seem irritated. ... I can feel every sip of water that I take and it sits in my pouch like a lead balloon and then it passes. I'm hesitant to try anything other than liquids. My first post op with the doc is on Thursday. Your thoughts?
  8. Hello all, I am 17 days post op RNY, I had left sided pain around my largest incision after surgery. That calmed down but then 3 days ago I rolled over in bed and felt an immediate burning, ripping pain in a different area of my abdomen. It worsened when I was getting something off of the floor and tried to straighten up. I had to start taking my Percocet again and the pain has not improved. I can not twist or bend without pain. If I cough it sends me through the roof. I don't go back to the Dr (2 hrs away) until the 23rd. Your thoughts? Muscle or hernia? Is there any way to tell? Thank you!
