Pain
My big one is indented and is the most sore of all of them. I was sleeved on 6/9. I was hoping to drop the OxyContin today, but I gave in. Will try again tomorrow.

Spouse involvement
My husband did not like the idea at first. He's heavy too, and I think he's worried about losing his pig out buddy. He's been very supportive during the actual surgery process. I'm hoping he'll start thinking about having it done himself.

Lower BMI Peeps out there please HELP!
I started with a BMI of 36.5. I lost 20 lbs pre-surgery, so on the surgery date (6/9), my BMI was 33. I had multiple co-morbidities, including diabetes, type I I. I am off all my diabetes meds already. My recovery has not been bad so far.

What are the best vitamins you have found?
Mr dr. said 2 flintstones complete per day, plus viactiv calcium and vitamin D. I also do a chewable fish oil and biotin.

Did anyone loose weight on their pre-op diet
I started my program with a bmi of between 36 and 37. My surgery is tomorrow. Right now my bmi is 33. My dr. said the weight they use to qualify you is from your first weigh in.

Smoking ?
I think my program required that you have quit smoking for 6 months prior to the surgery. They do test for nicotine. Ask your doctor.

June 10th date- Day five of Liquid diet!
I'm having surgery on June 9. The liquid diet is not easy. I have to do 3 shakes and one meal. I have had to have a piece of fruit during the day most days because I am so hungry!

Is it possible to lose TOO MUCH weight before they submit to insurance and get denied for that?
My BMI is exactly 35 right now. I was told not to lose any more weight before starting the 2 week pre-op diet, because the insurance co might not approve me.
