Can you record vitamins in MFP?
Sorry to resurrect an older thread -- I was looking for information on how to record specific vitamins' attributes in MFP, but I can't figure it out. For example, I cannot see how to record the amount of D3 I'm taking. Has anyone figured this out?

Water
It was hard the first few days after surgery to get all the Water in. My body just felt like not wanting it at all, or at least my mind did. But it slowly went away, and I have no problems getting all the water in now (approx 40 days out of surgery).j For BMs, it got easier as time went on for me. I take 3 servings of Benefiber though as well to help.

When did you start running after surgery?
I wound up taking it light and just doing 1.5 miles this morning. No discomfort or anything, so works for me. Figured I'll slowly build back up by running 3 or 4 times a week.

When did you start running after surgery?
My surgery was 04/21/15, and I would like to start running tomorrow. I used to run a lot, half-marathon here and there I feel fine, was thinking I would start out very lightly. Just wondering when others started up running.

After Gastric Bypass - In ICU
No ICU for me. Recovery room (which I don't remember), and then was moved into a regular hospital room.

30/30 rule with protein shakes
Does the no drinking 30 minutes before/after meals also apply to protein shakes? I was wondering if not adhering means I wouldn't get to absorb enough of the nutrients from the shake.

Issues
My weight loss stalled around the 3rd week, but my clothes were definitely getting baggier on me. Eventually it will just fix itself and the weight will begin to come off again.

Advice <3
I was surprised how good the Bariatric Advantage protein tastes. I had a bag of vanilla, chocolate, and orange cream. When I'm at home, I go with Gold Standard whey. For when I'm on the go, I take along the individual Pure Protein servings; you can get them at Costco on the cheap. I found I really liked chocolate and strawberries and cream, but I haven't tried vanilla yet.

Feeling frustrated - Please help
My surgery was also on 04/21, and inexperienced a stall of nearly a week. Weight loss eventually started up again, as many here indicated would happen. I wouldn't worry about it.

Intestinal blockages
Thanks, it wound up clearing itself up again, but it's still worrying. Aside from pain in the abdomen now that I didn't have a few weeks ago, I've been ok since.

Maryland/DC/Northern VA Hospitals
My surgery was at INOVA Fair Oaks last month. The staff there is excellent. I was wanting for nothing during my stay.

problems with bowel movements
My doctor said I was fine with taking fiber -- I use Benefiber. It has helped me for sure.

Since your surgery, what are some of the things you struggle with? How do you cope?
I can't stand watching everyone else eat. I'm not even that hungry, but I just want to eat real food. Sometimes I regret the surgery, but I know it's for the best.

Dreaded Stall, 3 wks out...
I just got over the 3 week stall. Mine lasted about a week. Doctors and everyone here assured me it would correct itself, so I didn't change my eating habits any.

Fat free Creamer...
I have had no issues with fat free half & half with decaf. I don't use much. Never use any sweetener.

Surgery tomorrow!
Walk as much as you can within reason. It helps a lot with getting rid of the gas and air from the surgery.

Intestinal blockages
RNY was done on 04/21/15. Was kept longer in the hospital because of an intestinal blockage that eventually cleared itself up on the 24th. Recovery was going well, was planning on getting back to work in the morning, but had been experiencing abdominal discomfort nearly all day. Got worse at night when I attempted to get to sleep. Drove myself to the ER at 1:30am, and one CT scan (and some morphine) later, I have another blockage Anyone else experience this? I'm so frustrated; everything was going ok otherwise. I've even lost 25lbs already...
