  8. Congratulations!! You look amazing.
  9. Dr. Scott at Des Peres. Loved him and his entire staff. Had a great experience. Not a single complication and a fast recovery. 4 1/2 months post-op. HW 253, SW 240, CW 177. 37 more pounds to goal. Started the program at Mercy. Made it all the way to insurance approval. Lost confidence in the Doctor and the Mercy staff. The day before my surgery, I contacted Des Peres Hospital and transferred my medical records. Within three weeks I had my appt to meet the dr, pre-op and surgery. Changing physicians and hospitals was the best decision ever. I am very satisfied with Dr. Scott, his staff and the whole My New Self program.

  22. @Dub. Woohoo on the shooting sports. What sports???
  23. Thank you for the info. We will be in a camper so I will have access to cooking. I will have my two week follow up the day before I leave. Hopefully, I will get to go to soft foods by then. Had my surgery been early June as planned, there would not be a concern. My son has a National Championship sporting event and I'm not missing it.

  26. Scheduled for surgery on June 30. Was originally supposed to be June 2 but I ended up with the stomach flu. Just wondering how everybody was doing two weeks into recovery. I have plans to travel about an hour and a half from home and spend the week at that location. I will be two weeks post op and just wondering what to expect? My biggest concern is staying hydrated. I will be outside quite a bit and summers in the Midwest are HOT.
