  1. Day one for me too. It was alot easier than I thought it would be. I seasoned and put away 20 lbs of meat and told my family they are cooking. I feel okay for now let see what tomorrow will bring. Good luck all my June sleevers.
  2. I start on Monday. Protein drinks and soup broth for me for two whole weeks.
  3. Monday is the beginning of the 2 week all liquid diet. I have been drinking one to two meal replacement drinks a day so that I can get mentally ready. Congrats to all that have gotten the surgery and good luck to those whose date is comming up.
  4. Good luck everyone. @@musicmom60 I started my diet 2 week early. I am replacing one meal with a rtd meal. Next week I will do two meal replacment drinks and a meal. Then it's all liquid till surgery. I'm trying to get my body and mind used to the new me. Lol. So far it's okay. @ her1981 I know what you mean my kids are older but I need to be around for their kids.
  5. Just got the insurance letter in the mail. Everything is a go.
  6. I told everyone and anyone. I don't need anyone asking me if I'm on drugs or terminally ill. 95% of people gave me love and support. The rest really don't matter. My kids are happy and are planning alot of outdoor activities for us. Remind you my kids are cool teens. Lol

  8. Just got approved. Surgery date June 29th. I better start getting my thing together.

  11. Everything got submitted to Aetna today. Once I get approval I need to get medical clearance for surgery then a 2 week all liquid diet. Pray for me people. I hope everything goes smooth.
  12. @@marybowlus I hope you get some good news this week. I have my second appointment with the surgeon on Tuesday. I will ask him how long it take to get approved.
  13. @@kjsweigart my cardiologist letter was not written the way the insurance likes so I have to get another one that says" as a cardiologist It is in the best interest for this" lol all these hoops they want me to go through.
  14. @@marybowlus I in NY and the people at work that got the surgery done said it took a week to two weeks before approval.
  15. That's good to hear. I'm going to my last weigh in as we speak and all my post op stuff is done. Let see what they say.
  16. Hey Marybowlus my last weigh in is in may. I just finished all the pre op stuff AETNA required. As long as your bmi is 40 + you should be good. Under 40 they want sleep apnea or blood pressure ect. Make sure your primary doctor writes the letter stating who important thus surgery is to your well being
  17. I was at six flags great adventure and got on the scream machine. The ride person try to lock me in. When she notice she couldnet she smiled and said you have that solid fat. I got off and walked away so embarrassed. That was my wake up call
