I dont have a preop diet either, I just have to have liquids only the day before and take a cleanser. I just got my magic bullet, I love it, I've been making all kinds of smoothies! Yum!

I think my magic bullet works a little too well:-) I tried to chop up some bellpeppers and onions and it turned them into juice..lol.... I tried to pluse it but it was'nt working. Any adivse?

Hi Guys, I have my final pre op appointment on April 3rd. I will find out my surgery date then. Yeah!!!!!!! I'm getting closer.

My doctor doesn't require a preop diet, I hope my liver is healthy enough for surgery.

I understand how you feel, I married my husband not only because I loved him but because He loved me even though I was overweight. But we are two different people and sometimes i feel like I married him because I thought no one else would. I am scared and even he has admitted that once I lose the weight I my realize that I deserve better. But I pray that it doesn't happen because I truly love my husband and I hope we can work through our night and day differences. I think if you really want your marriage do everything ou can to work at it. That's what I'm going to do.

I thank you for your post. I think it was the most realistic one i have read. I am currently waitng for my surgery date. I know this is not going to be a easy journey, not nothing worth it is. My life and health is worth it all! Thank you again very encouraging!

Well I took your advise and called to see what was going on. My insurance is a go and they said I should something back next week. So I am one more step closer.

Curves is very effective, but I get bored doing the same thing everyday.

Thank you I am still waiting for a date. I did receive a letter in the mail telling me my blood work was fine except I need more Vitamin D, so atleast I know they haven't forgotten about me.

I had my consultation on the 31st of January and I have not gotten a phone call yet for my surgery date. :tt2: I have Anthem BCBS Fep which does not require prior approval, so what's taking so long for a date? Can anyone shed some light on the subject? :mad:

I am impaitently waiting too. I have been waiting since the 31st and my insurance does not even require prior approval, so have no idea why mine is taking so long. One of the ladies who was ther with me got her approval like two days later and is getting her surgery this Saturday. I wish that was me!!!!

That's bull crap how can approve and then change thier mind? if I were you I would call them back and find out why they are changing thier approval. If that doesn't work file an appeal and if that doesn't work, GET A LAWYER! My point is do not give up!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
