I was also sleeved on March 10 th and sometimes I feel like I have too much restriction. Just a few small bites and I can feel it in my throat. If I even dare try for that 1 extra bite I will be miserable for the next hour burping it up and my chest will feel very tight. Not a pleasant feeling

I had killer acid that made my throat feel like hot lava was bubbling up. My doc put me on nexium after 1 dose it was all gone and I feel great

I have discharge and a nasty sore. I called doc and he said it's probably a stitch that's not dissolving I'm 16 days post op. There gonna check it out in a few days

I'm 16 days post op and yes it will get much much better. I was miserable the first week everything I put in my mouth hurt but now things are going down much better the main problem I have is the acid coming up but my doc just put me on something stronger so hopefully it helps. Stay positive and good luck

2 weeks. Things move much faster for self pay at least it did for me

My surgery was 9,800 out of pocket that includes everything except pre op test which was $270.00. I'm in Louisiana. The whole process took less than a month everything went very quickly I'm guessing that's because I didn't deal with insurance.
