  1. As long as you get the 60 ozs of protein an 64 ozs of water in an exercise in. An just follow diet plan from Dr an nutritionist. Not being negative, just realistic. Hate to see you make mistakes so early on.just learn from mistakes now. Personally i can't even try any thing on sweet side or it makes me sick.
  2. The slower you lose the more it will stay off. Just follow the instructions you get an always make sure to follow them to the T, getting your 64 ozs water an 60 ozs water an exercise every day an you will be fine.
  3. At six months if you've lost all that after surgery you are losing kind of fast. Usually 100 lbs takes a year. You must exercise every day. If you are getting hungry you aren't maybe eating six small meals a day plus the 64 ozs of water with the 60 grams protein.

We were told nothing but their store shakes an soups for three weeks. Boy I can't figure that out. An four to six weeks still soups, shakes, some tuna, soft egg, an absolutely No sugar or Carbs. That's how we gained the weight. Don't want it to come back. And it will if we don't eat right. No juice ever. No candy, cake, pies , pastries ever.
  6. At two to for weeks here we were still on liquids, soups, shakes yet. An always 60 grams of protein.
  7. we had their store soups an shakes for two weeks post op then soup, yogurt an shakes next two weeks. Six weeks still soups, yogurts, some tuna, 1egg, shakes an above All No Fruits nor Veggies until we had our 60 grams protein Everyday. But at only 1/4_ 1/2 cup at a time six times a day plus 64 ozs water everyday who has time or room for more. No sweets, only 1 slice whole grain low fat low calorie bread, 35 cal for slice. I miss not having fruit an some veggies. I can't possibly drink for over two hours after eating or it comes back up at 3 months.
  8. My doctor an nutritionist both said No eat I g an drinking both. There is not enough room. It will make you vomit an isn't good. Must wait hour for food to pass an digest. Otherwise won't work right. Michigan favors this. We have giant clinic here. Where you from? .
  9. 3 months an 46 lbs since surgery. You are doing exceptionally well. I am having problems finding enough protein I can eat. A lot of food doesn't stay down. What are you eating now? I can only drink two sips of water at a time an only 1/4__to 1/2 cup food. At a time or it doesn't go down.
  10. I don't know about the video but didn't your doctor explain the surgery results to you. ? Absolutely no drinking with food. Wait at Least 1/2 hour After drinking to eat. And at least 1 hour or more after Eating to drink. There is no longer enough Room in the small stomach left to take in food an liquid. Some will have to be barfed up an that's No fun. I wrote down things doctor and nutritionist told me every appt. 2 weeks ,4weeks, 6 weeks an every appt. No drinking an eating. This is a new life style. You may Not be able to eat more than THREE spoons of food for at least 3 months. Seriously.
  11. Make sure you only eat the serving size. I've been eating from a measuring cup. And only what the say. I also have to wait 3hours after eating to drink water or food comes back up. Remember only two sips of water at a time.

    Side effects?

Call your doctor. These systems have nothing to do with your surgery.

    Bariatric Vitamins

After the first two months the Dr, told me I could buy a good multi vitamin from the store like Centrum women , even store brand. But they had us buy ours to begin with from their store to be sure we had enough of what we needed. Your Dr, must be different.

    4 week post surgery

Well I'm almost 75 an it's been 9 weeks an I'm tired of the soft food, all protein. No veggies or fruit. An can only handle 1/4__ 1/2 cup at a time. I've lost weight but at what a price.

I can't believe nobody told you that after surgery up until the time they give you the okay YOU MUST ABSOLUTELY NOT DEVIATE FROM the list of foods OR liquids they tell you to eat. Every time I had an appointment I also met with a nutritionist who gave me a new list of things to eat/ drink. I cant believe they didn't do that for you. Two weeks after I had mostly liquids yet an some items had to come from their stores. Soup mixes, shake mixes an everything tasted awful. I am at 9 weeks an still on 1/4-1/2 cup servings of soft foods on their list. If you even take a taste of anything else you probably will throw it up even after two hours. An that hurts. So above all follow exactly the diet they give you. If they didn't then ask for one. There aRe foods you will NEVER be able to eat. An one is probably fast food. I can't even eat fruits nor vegetables yet. One serving of food isn't much but it has to be all protein so we get the 60 grams protein. Then when the time comes, if it ever does, then we might be able to add them. Hopefully. They didn't tell us a LOT of things pro op.

    4 week post surgery

Exercise, walking is great. Try walking fast, then slow. Keep drinking the 64 ozs, water an 60 grams protein. You probably aren't used to walking. Just massage legs, always stretch them before walking.

    Vitamins?

I was only given a stack of papers every time I met with nutritionist every two weeks, then 4-6 then 2_3_4 months. Each time we were given a new packet of instructions. But if you aren't sure call an ask the nutritionist.

    Vitamins?

My doctors store sold me a very high quality multivitamin, to take twice a day plus iron an c. Then told us to get vitamins for hair, body an nail because we would lose hair by three months. You should also be meeting a person to tell you what to eat an drink after 2 Weeks, then 4 an 6. They give you a new diet an orders for vitamins each time.

    gastric sleeve..

Water is a problem to me as well an i don't tolerate artificial sweeteners . An don't care for tea too much so don't have options.they say it gets better. I however am having problems getting enough protein. Finding it's expensive for me.I didn't know it was going to be so expensive trying to find things to eat. Can't live on eggs ,cheese an Turkey jerky sticks. Some pea soup an once in awhile plain Hamburg, no bread. In at two months , had a bad hernia repair an just had it checked because I'm sick to stomach all the time an throwing up some. Have to sip water two sips at a time, not fast. Eat slow, sometimes for over 30 minutes. But only one serving of any thing at a sitting. Thats hard cause I want fruit an veggies an there is no protein in them so must get in 60 grams protein first. But it gets better.
  21. Just make sure there are no breading on your foods an keep protein the priority. There are some things you will never be able to eat.

Each time I have an appointment I see the diatiatin they give me lists of things to eat an vitamins. They recommend to us a very good multivitamin, from their store,an some for hair, body an nail cause at three months if you don't you will lose hair. Ask your doctor. He should have already have told you.

Just eat their products an don't deviate in any way from the diet they give you each time you go back. You will be fine. Remember it's a must for you to drink 64 loss ozs, of water and at least 60 grams an over of protein. That is the key to weight loss. Not much fat, an barely any carbs. That's hard but it's an entirely different way of eating. No more sweets.
