Shrinking Body and Confidence
Thanks for all the responses! @@OutsideMatchInside I was the "Big girl" who was cute and dressed really well. Now my friends have revoked my "Big Girl Card" and I'm navigating my way through the non-plus size side of the store, in addition to sizing out of Lane Bryant. So, I'm just having to adjust to my new life and it is taking time and work. We went to a wedding this weekend and my old neighbor didn't recognize me...I'm glad I was with my husband and she finally figured it out.. These are not bad things, just different. I am very happy with these changes, but they are uncomfortable. I'm hoping it's like being sleeved and my life adjusts soon enough! Until then like @@Nickkibear24 said, I'll fake it until it happens! Thanks!

Protein shakes
I'm with @@miller1109 and @@LisaPunkinHead, Chocolate Premier Protein. It seems to have the most protein and fewest carbs for ready made shakes. It's all about convenience for me. It helps that they put $4 off coupons in the paper every few months. That's when I stock up!

Shrinking Body and Confidence
I notice as I continue to lose weight I am slightly less confident than I was before. I am getting more comfortable in my new skin, but it is taking longer than I thought. I was a very confident plus size lady. My expectation was that I would become smaller and my confidence would increase. I'm down 85 pounds from my heaviest weight in almost 4 months and I'm ecstatic! I just want my confidence to be where it once was. Is there anyone else who can identify with this? If so, how did you deal with the issue?

What questions should I ask my surgeon?
No problem. The best to you!!!!

What questions should I ask my surgeon?
The guide the surgeons use to make your new stomach.

What questions should I ask my surgeon?
What size bougie does he use? That will give you an idea of the size of your new stomach.

Doubts
Nothing ventured nothing gained. You owe yourself the opportunity, given your last few months of hard work in obtaining approval. Ultimately the choice is yours, but there are so many people who would love to be in your shoes. The best to you! I know you'll do what is best for you.

Just wanna get it right
Submissions to insurance is nerve racking, please be warned. Try to busy yourself during that time. Next is pre op diet, which wasn't too bad for me because of the excitement of having the surgery. Post op was really easy. I had a couple of days of nausea and that's it. I started working out 2 weeks post op and I'm glad I did! It gave me energy. This is the best gift you can give yourself and your kids. This will give you your life back and so much more.

Anxious over approval ????
@@Cheers2Happiness and@@AllthingsApple congrats to you both!!! Welcome to the beginning of your new lives. I pray the best for the two of you.

Just wanna get it right
Once you submit for approval and get approved everything goes so fast. I'm a little over 3 months postop and it seems time has just flown by. Good luck and hang in there!

Anxious over approval ????
@@AllthingsApple keep your head up. I'm sure your doctors office knows the verbiage to use to get it approved. Look on the bright side, at least it's just doctor's documentation and not anything else.

I GOT APPROVED!
Congrats! No preop diet is a bonus!

Any couples out there both sleeved?
Not really for us because eating better is more expensive.

Any couples out there both sleeved?
@@Para-thighs Lost my husband never had any issues with recovery. I stayed an extra night the hospital because general anesthesia makes me extremely nauseous. He's done everything so quickly, which I resented at first...but I'm better now!

Isopure Disgusting!
Isopure is NASTY!!! I bought 6, tried 1 and gave the other 5 away. The smell is a deterrent in itself. Good luck, I pray the days fly by for you!

Any couples out there both sleeved?
My husband was sleeve March 5th and I was sleeved March 31st. I have lost about 60 pounds and my husband around the same. It was the best thing we have ever done for ourselves. I also learned that both of our journeys are different and we shouldn't try to compare our weight loss. Good luck to both of you!
