I have cigna as well and my stuff was suppose to have been submitted on 6/18. I have not heard from cigna yet. I am very nervous. I am worried that she may had not even submitted it bc she has been very forgetful. I have my fingers crossed to get an approval this week.

My surgeon's office sent in my packet last week. I'm impatiencently waiting to here the results. How long did it take others to hear back from cigna?

I just found out I am borderline diabete, will this help qualify me?

I weigh 10 more pds in my last visit then I did on my first visit. Will my insurance still approve it?

My doctor stated that as long as it fluctuate a few pounds. She said, I shouldn't lose to much bc then the insurance will say I can do it on my own but not to go much either.

Okay, so I go for my last weigh in tomorrow. My Dr. Stated that I must weight less or the same weight as my first appointment. I weigh 3 pounds to much. Any advise on how to lose 3 pds in one day. Or did any of you weight more?

I have 3 months of my 6 months requirement down but now my insurance is changing. What will happen?

I am at my first appointment today for Dr.Weiss. I seen the physicists, dietitians, weighed in, met with pa and financial lady. All I have to do now is finish my 3 month which may is my last month, cardiology clearance and a pulmonary clearance then I can schudule my appointment to see Dr.Weiss and set my surgery. A course after my insurance approves me. I did cigna require anyone else to do the cardiology and pulmonary clearance?

I am border line bmi of 40. I have no health issues but I did have gestional diabetes during pregnancy will that possibly help me qualify?

I just got off the phone with my insurance. They said it pays 75% but the labs and doctors visit isn't covered does that mean all visits, the first one or after the surgery? Also it states I have to have documented failed weightloss attempt in the past six months. Does that mean I have to have been on a supervised diet for the past six months or just sometime in the past six months?

I have Anthem and curious how hard it is to get approval and also what the requirements was for others? Last year I was on a 6 month diet by doc. I took phentermine and I lost alot of weight dropped to 198. Even though I got below my 40 bmi at that time will it still count for my 6 months? Now I gained it all back weighing 254. I have no health problems and in order for my bmi to be 40 I have to weigh 248 which I do weigh more now.

My husband's states eligibility date 08 2014 and my dad's says enrollment 1/1/2015. So what's the difference in eligibility and enrollment? So I'll have to follow anthems 6 mnths requirements too?

I have two insurances. I have my husband's and my father's. My husband's insurance is cigna and I'm assuming it's primary. My father's is anthem. Cigna requires only 3 months and anthem requires 6. Will I have to follow only my primary insurance requirements or my secondary too?

I have Cigna through my Husband and Anthems through my father. How do I know who is primary since the primary insurance is the one with the requirements.

I received an email yesterday stating they had received my forms and had to verify my insurance availability so it could take 4 to 6 weeks before I am able to make my first appointment. How long did everyone else have to wait to make their first appointment? How long did the whole process take until ur surgery date? Did you have trouble with getting your insurance approval?

I am 23 from Lexington Ky. Dr. Weiss is who I am trying to go through. I sent my papers out last week, I haven't heard anything yet. I was wondering how long it takes them to schedule your appointment after all paperwork and seminar is done. I'm afraid I won't be approved. I have cigna and coventry cares. I have no medical problems but I do have alot of family history of heart attacks and diabetes. I also had gest iona diabete while pregnant.
