  1. Back to work 9 days after surgery - felt good to b productive & use my brain again ...however just be prepared for how tired u will feel at the end of the day!!! I was always up til 11 or so ...now I'm lucky if I c 9pm before I crash..3 weeks out & hoping it will get better
  2. 1 week ...and except for feeling do tired by the end of the day - all else is fine
  3. Hi gang ... Had surgery on 3/9'& just gettin back on forum . All went good - but was not at all prepared for those gas pains the first night ...ugh ..horrible. Since being home doing fine - no issues with intake yet - just really have no desire to drink/eat so have to make sure I'm doing it ..
  4. Hi gang -had surgery on Monday 3/9. All has gone well thank God. First night was horrible with gas pain - would have sworn I was having a heart attack. Day 2 that got better - so did the walking..no issues with leak test except the stuff that make u drink is the worst crap EVER. Have had no issues with intake at hospital or home. My doc gave me option to go home after 1 night - but I opted for two nights in hospital - so so glad I did!!! All the pre-op is worth it...hang in ...stay strong ..pray & get support from family & friends..it is all worth it!! Good luck to all

It def is a net weight loss or maintenance after 6 months ...I started my 6 months in July & due to steroids for a broken wrist the scale showed an 11lb gain in October ...I totally freaked - contacted doctor & insurance company ...and when I finished in dec I was down again & now my sleeve surgery is mon!!! Good luck to all
  6. My doc is ok with the premier & they def r the best tasting ready made. try pure protein at vitamin shoppe - cookies & cream. And vanilla r good
  7. On day 4 of my liquid pre diet ...doing ok - I am finding that chewing trident gum is really helping
  8. Started my preop diet today - two protein shakes that I have tried & am living are premier chocolate - u can get them at bjs & pure protein vanilla at vitamin shoppe - I am only doing The ready made ones
  9. Hernia surgery is another option if u feel u must tell them something
  10. I'm an HR manager - no need to tell people ...my surgery is sched for March 9thn..during my pre-op clearance found out I have a hiatal hernia which is a great cover story
