  2. I am first on Tuesday!! I have to be there at 530 and my surgery time is 815 am!! Extremly nervous cant sleep bt i know God got me!!!

  4. Only two days away.getting more and more nervous!! Dr didnt inform me of a liquid diet...i hope that isnt a issue
  5. I feel so out of the loop bc my surgeon did not put me on a liquid diet at all...i will do the clear liquid diet with you @@ladycook9713 just incase...

  8. @@CatKaren i bought a nice old lady godwn for my walks during my stay..do u think i will b able to wear them? Did they allow u a shower considering i bathe three four times a day?

  10. Ok great!! I read some people experienced some recent complications..did you? I know all cases are different as well as bodies! How many pounds did u lose within ur first month?
  11. Im excited scared bt focused...i have been researching everything/reading others post about what to take to the hospital, the suggested protein shakes, everything..i want to be prepared!!
  12. Ok so sounds like i need to get some gas strips as i have read several posts about them...what else would u recommend that i have wit me as well as any particular protein shake?
  13. @sallyomallery67 thanks for the advise...i enjoy walking so i will be up and at the same way that you were...did u take any gas meds wit u or u stuck solely to what was provided...is there a reason why u can only have ice cubes instead of water?

  18. Well thats comforting to know!! Have you had any complications from your surgery? I fear excess skin and flab...i guess maybe working out will help with that...i only took a week off so hopefully thats enough time, i heal quickly
  19. Reading thesd forums is helping me ease my nervousness..i know that all cases are different as well as all healing times are as well...my biggest fear right now is the tubing they put in to help breathe..im wondering how painful is it as well as the removal of it?

  21. Thanks all for the feedback...im a very independent person so jumping back into independence mode is important...ive had several surgerys so i can tolerate pains..unfortunately never labor pains so idk how that feels bt i can imagine...
  22. Thanks i really want to be prepared..my biggest concerns are having what i need as well as pain levels...i know a tube is put in to assist in breathing and i hope the removal isnt painful as well
