I have been feeling hungry more than i think i should especially being one week post op!!!! Any idea why?? Also noticing that my urine is darker than normal and strong smelling? Could it be lac of Water? Ive had 20 ounces today so far...will try tosqueeze in twenty more...is that possible?

Laying here awaiting anesthia so i decided to post!! Im nervous!! Im scared!! Yet Im excited!! In a few hours my journey truly begins and my new lifestyle will set in!! To all that are having surgery today, my prayers are with you and best wishes!!

Thanks all...i will definitely drink as much Water as possible for the rest of the night... Has anyone else had issues with bowel movements? I was told stool softners...ur thoughts?

Ohk its really hard getting the ounces in when before i could drink half my body weight with no issue..i have 32 ounces in the fridge now and im gonna try to drink more when i come from my walk..guess dinner will be water...

I had the bypass on tuesday the 24th..went home on the 25th..i have been walking and walking..still gas pains...Any suggestions? I noticed some ppl have mentioned bowel movements bt No bowel movement for me yet....any idea as to why? Isnt week one supposed to b all liquids so could that be why?

Ok thanks..i guess i am so eager to lose..i may have overdid mself with drinking the protein shake because i am now having to go every few minutes.. i dont think its dumping syndrome because there is no pain or discomfort.

Hey all...i finally drunk a protein shake..i think lean muscle or sumthing and it has d 40 g of protein...i finally had my bm and was relieved..i walked twenty mins on treadmill and felt great yet tired so i left the gym..afterwards i went out to the local flea market and walked even more..i feel energetic..ill b glad when i can resume sex lol...i feel the urge to stay busy...would it b to much to attempt going back to work early?

@@Cupcake im almost seven days out ive been walking some bt anxious to hit the gym do u think its too early for a treadmill..i have the gas x strips bt they really did not help so i quit using then...maybe i dhould start back

Well its finally here...i completed preop today and will be ready to rock and roll first thing in the morning @ 530!! I m beyond nervous! Im worried! Ive prayed and have others praying with me...idk what to expect..any advice? What did you take/need/use durung your hospital stay? Pain levels?
