  1. I'm 8 months out, I lost a lot of my hair....I got a nice wig to wear a couple of months ago to help hide the balding spots. Now I don't go out with out it. They lady matched it really sell to my natural hair. If you can afford it i suggest go invest in one. Does wonders to our self esteem.
  2. My mother, sister and I got the WLS, very supportive team we had!

  4. My sister got sleeved last July, I was sleeved March 9th and our mother will be sleeved April 20th. I got to say we are happy to have each other as support. On the other hand we haven't told a lot of people. Only about 3 other people than us know. And they have been so supportive. I hope that you family will turn around and rather than gossip be a support system for you. This is definitely not an easy way out. Best of luck
  5. I was in there for 45 mins, went by real quick.
  6. I have my Vitamins and Protein powder. Any suggestions on what to take the hospital with me? Also what kind of broth do to you recommend, Jello, yogurts etc. Thanks for any help, I'm going to buy everything today and tomorrow. Also I know that at some point during WLS people lose their hair, any suggestions on how to keep that to a minimal? Sorry for all the questions!
  7. All my paper work gets submitted tomorrow. I have a surgery date of Feb 9th if all gets approved. Has anyone gone through this with medical in California? Any info will be helpful! Thank you
