swanssl, Your story sounds alot like mine! I too was banded 2 years ago and Ive only lost 30 lbs and I am so sick of throwing up and getting stuck! Fills, unfills, and just trying to find a doctor to do my fills....Sooooo, I am now considering the sleeve....I hope to have my surgery in Feb......Feb cant get here fast enough....But I have to wait for my tax refund to get the money together....Good luck with your surgery and please stay in touch and let us all know how things go for you along the way.....I will be watching to see your progress....For I hope it works for me as well!!!! Heres a question for you people who have had revison from band to sleeve....what is the cost for this with Dr. Aceves?

I use the ladies from Marysville, wa....they come over here to do fills every 4 months or so.....They will be in Spokane in Aug....Im not sure about Dr. Pennings, last time I checked he wasnt doing us Mexico patients.....If you hear of anyone else in this area, let me know and If you want the ladies phone number or website I can pass it aliong to you....They really are great just located over in Seattle and takes a while for them to get over here sometimes....

I have not been on the website cause I was banded in Mexico and I dont have a access number. I go to the ladies in Arlington for all my fills. Northwest Fill Management providing affordable lap-band fills for weight loss surgery patients., Mexico was just too far to go for my fills so I did my research and found these wonderful ladies who are a wonderful source of info. They have helped me so much on this new journey I have chose. I have their personal emails and keep in contact on a weekly basis. They travel to Spokane, wa where I usually go. No other dr here would touch me since I went to Mexico so they've been a great help.

Jewels, I have the realize band and so far I love it....It has taken me 4 fills to finally feel that FULL feeling everyone keeps talking about! I was really beginning to think maybe I didnt have a FULL button! HA HA....But after 4 fills and finally being at 8cc's I now know what full means and I feel like a bandster! I can only eat about 3/4 to 1 cup of food and Im sooooo full....lost 13 lbs in 3 weeks soo WOOOOHOOOOO.....I have a 10 cc band so it took me forever to get there! FINALLY FULL, Lisa

Wow, Im in shock that you are paying so much for your fills!!!! There are 2 ladies that come here from Seattle area and do fills for only $150.00....If you'd like more info let me know, I have there number and I go only to them. They come to Spokane about every 8 weeks or so....I missed them 2 weeks ago so I drove over to Seattle and got my fill on Sat. Anyways, if you'd like the info let me know....

I too am feeling like you...i have 8ccs in a 10cc band have not only lost 5lbs since I was banded in Feb......I got a fill on Sat. and maybe, MAYBE feel alittle restriction but can still eat anything I want and as much as I want....very frustrating!!!!!

I have a question for you, can you tell me what your disaster was with 8.5cc's.....I have a 10cc band and now I have 8cc's but still dont have restriction....i am thinking of getting another fill....but would like to hear your story...thanks

I got a question for you.....Do you get tighter when its going to rain or if its humidity outside? I can tell you when its going to rain every time! And yes, some days I can eat something the next I cant eat the same thing....But its working!

I was banded by Dr. Aceves and I have a LOVEHATE relationship with my band.....Some days I hate it and some days I love it! It has taken me 6 months to adjust and understand what I am suppose to be doing. But its working and has been a great learning experience! I dont regret my decision to have a band. Its just taken me a while to get a handle on it. The head hunger has been almost overwhelming at times! But, we learn as we go through this journey! Good luck!

Oh brother, Earl found me!!!!! Mine was a cucumber! Somehow, someway it missed being chewed and here came Earl! Yes, I was out to dinner, and scared my kids half to death since I spent 38 mins of hell locked in the bathroom! Only to leave with Earl, had to stop 4 times on the way home to throw up slim! FInally home threw up so hard, I thought I was going to pass out!....YES, I have learned the lesson not to eat while talking with your kids! Whew! Thank GOD its over! Ive had 3 fills and feel very tight but dont seem to be losing weight. Drives me crazy! And I sure cant find any support here in the States. I love my band, but want the weight to fall off!
