I'm June 24th as well Just finished day 5 of preop diet!

I'm curious if anyone was able to drink low sodium V8 on their preop diet? My list says I can have have sugar free drinks, but doesn't list anything similar to it. The V8 is the small can and has 30 calories. I have been really craving one ! I used to drink them daily. Thanks

I don't know what's up, but I am still feeling fine on this preop diet. I have been dreading it for so long, but I haven't really felt deprived at all. I'm waiting for the day that I get really HANGRY! Lol

@@Licia'sjourney I bought a sample pack of the unjury packets with all the flavors. I tried the chocolate yesterday with 1 cup fat free lactose free milk. It was delicious!! . I do like the vanilla and strawberry Premiere though.

@@Licia'sjourney Yay! so happy for you! How is the preop diet going for you? I was surprised how easy it has been for me so far But, this is just day 4!

I had my final preop appt today. Echo-cardiogram, pulmonary test, ultrasound of the veins in both my legs, cardiac stress test, and my preop class. 3 hours whew! Unless i hear something by Wednesday otherwise (no new is good news) regarding my cardiac stress test, and I don't expect to, I am still on for June 24th! Preop diet starts Wednesday June 10th They also sent me home with a machine to attach to my legs while I am sleeping to prevent blood clots after surgery. It's finally getting real!!

@cecilialee220 My BMI is 43, no comorbidity requirement for insurance.

@@Licia'sjourney Yes, they told me the surgery center would call me with a time. That's totally crazy that we bumped into each other at all. Interwebs, they are awesome

My pre op appt is June 8th and surgery is scheduled June 24th. Seems so close yet so far!! I will be out of state the week before my surgery which will be fun for my preop diet! I start 2 week preop diet on June 10th. Well who is with me? I'm so excited to finally have a date! ????

Finally got my surgery date June 24th! I have to be out of state the entire week prior (June 15-19) for work meetings so I will be packing my checked bag with protein drinks and soup for my preop diet lol. I hope all the meetings keep my mind off it! Woohooo so excited!!!

Waiting for a date. I am done with insurance and medical clearance through True Results. I have an apt with my surgeon Adam Smith on Monday and hope to have a date soon! Burleson TX here.

My letter finally made it's way to True Results from BCBS IL and I have an appointment with my surgeon on Monday May 18. I hope to have a surgery date soon since I have already done all kinds of testing for medical clearance as well. I'm so impatient!!

I was only required to have 1 Nut visit and it was via phone.

I called my insurance today to make sure they got my paperwork. They told me it was reviewed and approved today and I would be getting a letter!! So happy ????
