Lol i think we all worry about hair loss..im only 12 days out and doing great with no hair loss yet but they say you dont really start to loss it unitl between 3 and 6 month mark..great right in time for summer ill be bold lmao! And as far as the pain goes (for me anyway) was less then a 3 on a scale of 1 to 10..i was shocked when i woke up from surgery and only felt a little sore since im a big wennie and hate anything that has to do with pain lol. I think you will do fine. Good luck

Speaking of bread..has anyone tried the p28 protein bread? I seen it on Amazon..i cant ever think about trying bread for another 2 months according to my nut lol

The only thing that helped me was walking and tiny sips ..this will pass, im 9 days out and mine has gotten alot better..hang in there!

Hi everyone! I am 5 days post op (sleeve) im feeling pretty good too. I seem to have a headache and neck pain that wont go away since surgery but every day its getting better and who knows maybe i just need a new pillow lol my surgery went good..woke up will very little pain..just kinda sore and groggy feeling..however i must not do good with anesthesia because the first night i did throw up or try to anyway. I feel dizzy from time to time still and where most people say they aren't hungry..i find myself kinda hungry from time to time too..i just eat my sf jello and my broth,it seems to help! I go for my 1 wk check up on the 12th. I live in MD my doctor was Dr.Gandsas

Yay! My surgery is tomorrow too and im pretty much feeling the same way as you..i have packed my hospital bag 2 times this morning lol im waiting for the hospital to call (between 2-5) to let me know exactly what time to be there..its probably going to drive me crazy until i hear from them lol i also need to take some before pix...im hoping by thurs morning ill be back on here letting you all know how it went..fingers crossed! !

I am excited but antsy...cant wait for this part to be over with! Lol How are you feeling?

Hi! My surgery is next wed (4th) and im really getting nervous as well..i have all the same thoughts as you do. Last night i couldn't sleep at all..its like my mind just wouldn't stop..normally i would just take a Tylenol pm but im not allowed to from this point on. I wish i had some great wisdom or advice to share with you but i dont..however if you need to talk im on here all the time and im open to phone chats too..good luck and think positive!

I have lost 11 pounds so far but struggling to stay away from carbs lol

Hi baby256!! I have chosen to tell people about my surgery..im a very open person and didnt want to lie to any of my family or friends. Im not ashamed of this choice even when people (including some friends) say negative things like "you should just eat better and join a yoga class" (what a friend actually said) lol But everyone is different and some people are more private..to each their own!

This was very helpful..my sleeve is scheduled for feb 4th..a little nervous so far. My surgeon is Dr.Gandsas in Annapolis. I have heard of your doctor tho because i lived in Red Lion for 10 years. Someone told me to take gas-x melting strips for after surgery and i was wondering if you were allowed to do this because i dont think my doctor will allow this?
