  1. You're right, there is no one test that says you have PCOS. You can all of the symptoms or only a few. I think I have most of them unfortunately and since weight loss is the key, all of my hope lies in the band for getting this weight off.
  2. I have high praises for laser hair removal. I do have to say though that they person operating the laser needs to know what they're doing. The first lady I tried had it to high and my face got burned. It took me a while to get up the nerve to go back but when I did I got a different tech and she's been perfect. I've had my face and arms done...need touch-ups on my face still but the difference has been amazing both inside and outside.
  3. I'm shocked as I read what some of you have gone through with reactions. I haven't experienced that at all and I'm so thankful. I've told a gazillion people and all have been excited for me and very encouraging. I would have to say that the negative reactions are due to an ignorance of not knowing what weight loss surgery is about, both medically and personally. Maybe I've done a good job in educating those I've told. Sometimes I think I tell too much but I want people to understand.
  4. I had hoped to lose 70 by the end of the year which is quickly approaching. I've lost 53 and I can't see the 70 happening with just over a month to go. BUT it's 53 pounds that are gone forever and I'm THRILLED with that. The rest will come in time.
