  2. Mine is just $150.00 for the hospitalization. Health insurance companies must cover this surgery completely according to PR legislation.
  3. The approval process in the US seems like a hardship. Here in PR is easier for the patients, if you have a BMI of 35 or higher with comorbidities or 40 or higher, all insurance companies must approve your surgery within 15 days of submitting your application provided you include evidence of having tried any weight loss treatment and or exercise plan without success, and the basic medical evidence. Then with the approval you begin the process of nutricionist, and all the evaluations needed prior surgery.
  4. I am required to weight >210 by next Wednesday... I'm behind by 3 pounds... Surgery is on Jan 27

  6. Hey, I am in a similar situation, my surgery is in the 27th of this month and my weight in is the 21st, still have to lose 4... If I reach a weight >210, then I start the liquid diet until surgery day. Good luck to you.
  7. Hi, My surgery will be on jan 27, its anybody else drinking impact shakes? I have to start on them five days before surgery.
  8. Now that my surgery is getting closer and more real, the bottled up resentment for that tipe of bullying is really ovewhelming...
