Anyone from NYC?
I started in the gym about 4 month after surgery. At the time I only did a lot of cardio and eventually with lite weights just to tone. Little by little I increased but I'm going back to lite weights since even though I was losing inches I was gaining muscle weight which I didn't want since my shirt size was fitting tight which was ok but I diywant to buy new shirts again. I used to be xxxl shirt and now I'm a fitted Large and pants were 46 and now 34. Crazy enough my shoe size changed Cool ????

Unrealistic Expectations
You will definitely have a life changing experience. I was a big couch potato now I go to the gym 6 days a week at5am and biking on weekends for 2-3 hours. Surgery was the best decision I ever made. I was 350lbs now 200 solid . Definitely have more energy I had surgery 5/29/15 but lost all my weight by thanksgiving the same year. Now I'm just maintaining

Hi. Congratulations on your decision. I'm 16 months post op. You should try patchmd for your vitamins. I haven't drank a pill since surgery just taking a daily patch that now I use every other day since my body was absorbing everything lol.

Everyone is different with levels of pain. This is a major surgery so going it as a weekend things is not ahold idea. I seen people go back to work after a week. Some longer. I was out a month

Honestly I didn't have any issues with food liquids. I followed the plan provided by the dr. I use a multivitamin patch every other day from patchmd. In the beginning I took it daily but I was absorbing too much. Lastly a b12 injection every 6 weeks

Thankfully no issues of any kind. HW 340 SW 320 CW 200. GW was 225. I'm trying to reach 190 but I do slot of weightlifting so I'm keeping a lot of muscle weight. Vitamins are good. I get a B12 injection every month and a vitamin patch every other day. I can eat just about anything. A lot of things I don't eat since this was a change of lifestyle- Anyone from New York City?
You have to keep positive. Just read the info and don't take it personal. I'm 14 months post op - Anyone from New York City?
