Having to lose 14-20lbs before surgery
Hi. Try substituting a meal with a low calorie high Protein shake. You have a few months to go which is fine. Also as your doctor or nut about any pre op diets before surgery. The one I was given to do 2 weeks before surgery I lost almost 20lbs. Look into Herbalife shakes

Hello everyone, just sharing to those I've met here my current status. I was sleeved on May 2016. HW 340 SW 320 CW 200 . My GW was 220. It was the hardest decision to make to have this surgery at age 44 but I'm glad I did. It was the best decision I've ever made.

Deal breaker.
Hi. I had surgery on 5/29/15. HW 340 SW 320 CW 200 GW was 225. I still enjoy my coffee everyday just in a smaller quantity I just don't drink the high calorie ones with caramel and everything else. I keep it plain. Expresso with cream and stevia. 4-5oz.

Food
Hi. Don't be paranoid. Do things you're comfortable with. In time you'll be ok. It took me a while I can eat more after surgery. I'm now stable at 5 to 6oz of food.

Food
Unfortunately we hear so many things from our doctors that do not make sense but they're the doctors. If we knew better then we wouldn't need them. But in regards to those eating food a few days after surgery, I strongly recommend you sit back and think as to why you elected to have surgery. Be strong be determined to make a better life. Weight loss is 80% mental 20% food. We have to be prepared. Don't ruin it by eating foods that got is in this situation. That's how it starts.

Hello everyone, it's been a little bit since I been on here. Just giving a follow up on my progress. HW 340 SW 320 CW 200 GW 190 I goal is 190 but it's hard to achieve since I been lifting weights along with a lot of cardio I'm building muscle mass. I would have been there a long time ago but I'm not complaining. I'm surprised and happy with my progress. My pants used to be 46-48. Now I'm a 34. XXXL shirts down to a fitted large. I'm surprised my shoe size has changed [emoji848] lol Hope to hear from fellow NYer's
