April 20th God willing will be my surgery date!!! Super excited and super scared!!!

What does your incisions look like once healed? I had gallbladder surgery in 2007 and my scars are very light and not noticeable, I'm worried what the incisions for the sleeve will look like.

Rustynail, I consulted with dr Greco but dr Reich is doing my surgery at SOCH 2/24. I am sorry to hear you have had such a hard time of it, glad you didn't have any serious dehydration issues!! Do you know what size bougie was used for your surgery? What is a bougie?

I haven't been sleeved yet. I'm just wondering how many peoples insurance has paid for plastic surgery. I'm very worried about loose skin and know it comes with this but I don't think I am financially able to afford plastic surgery.

Here in jersey they have stores called "everything but water" and you can buy the top and bottom separate so that you can buy the top by cup size. They have bikinis and the tunic top also.

Hi, 28 mother of 3 in Jersey and I just scheduled my last 3 appointments ( psych eval, last NUT, and pulmonology ) for March 18th for pre op approval for my insurance and I'm so exited. My surgeon said by the 20th they should have all reports and submit everything to insurance and then it will take less then a month for approval!!!

It's just so sad because I have really been watching everything that goes in my mouth and I am a total Dr Pepper addict and I haven't had any since my first appointment with the surgeon. Yesterday I had 900 calories and wasn't hungry at all today I've had 1,005 and I'm starving. I got rid of EVERYTHING junk/bad for me in my house (kids and hubby not thrilled) but I'm the one home and I normally turn to good with emotion so I don't want anything other then fruit or nuts to be there lol. I have until March 18th (my next appointment) to loose is what my NUT said or they won't approve my surgery. My 2 sons aren't school age yet so after we get my daughter off to school we come home and do Zumba, then after nap time I do yoga and belly dancing dvd. I'm hoping all this will help and I can loose the weight. My PCP doctor also said I need to get more sleep I'm only sleeping about 4 hours. Thanks everyone for ur support!!!

I just went to my weigh in and have gained 4 pounds. I seriously don't know how it's happened bc I've been watching and exercising. My NUT was very mean about it. I showed her my food log and exercise log and I felt like she thought I just made it all up. I have hypothyroidism and wasn't on meds for awhile and have just recently gotten back on them. I'm hoping that it will be good soon and I can start loosing/maintaining my weight bc the NUT told me they won't approve me if I have gained even an ounce.

So I'm worried about having a ton of loose skin after I have my surgery so I have been researching different things you can do in addition to working out. What have you done that has worked? Has anyone done those body wraps, did those help?

My doctor told me it's looking like April. I finish all my requirements March 18th so it just depends on how long the insurance takes to approve it GOD WILLING

I'm in woodbridge area. I haven't had my surgery yet, still in the process of doing all the insurance requirements. I'm free on the weekends! Would love to be able to meet woman who have already had their surgery!!!

I have this problem also. I am currently in my first month of 3 month supervised. I gained 2 lbs and I'm so nervous what the doctor will say. I'm at home all day long and will eat bc the kids waste, or out of boredom, but I also never get the full feeling. So tomorrow I am sending all snacks and junk food to my mom. I got healthy snacks for the kids and I really am trying to only eat 6 small meals a day and get all my water in. Wish me luck!!!

Anyone have plastic surgery? Who did you go to? I'm worried about what my stomach will be like after surgery. I've had 3 kids and 2 c sections so I feel like I will have skin that needs to be removed. ( praying that it bounces back) Just want to get an idea of who's good in jersey and the about cost for things!!!

I am a mother of 3~ 7 years, 4 years, 2 years. I am worried how I am going to take care of them post op. My mom and husband will be home the first week after surgery. I'm just worried bc my 2 younger ones are momma boys and are always on me and climbing in our bed at night. I had C sections with my last 2 and it was tuff recoveries but I had a lot of help then, sorry for going on and on this is just something that I'm having major anxiety over.

How long did you wait after surgery before you had sex?

Some places will let you try them on over leggings in the dressing room. My friend came from overseas and the sizing here is different and we went to Victoria's Secret and Aerie and both stores let her try them on.

I love looking at everyone's before and after pics, it's amazing how much more confident and how bright smiles are in the after pics! Makes me so excited to start my journey!!!
