    november sleevers.

Great job everyone. I started at 209lbs and hovering around 162lbs for 2 weeks. I feel great. Dowm from size 16 to size 10. This waa best decision I made. My physician is very pleased with my progress. Notice hair loss the past few weeks. Not really concerned. I am craving for crunchy or salty in evenings but not hungry at all. Taking all my vitamins. Know I should be getting at least 20 oz of protein drinks into my diet. Family extremely supportive. Challenging to eat out without wasting food or making so obvious to other couples or friends why Im not eating much.

    I can't wear a bra!

Try sports bra. I had same issue and it really helped. Get the ones that are lite weight and the band's across your incision areas are thin.
  7. If you can take a few weeks. Your body needs the rest. You can adapt to your new routine, exercise, nutritional guidelines and liquid intake. You dont realize how tired your body will get during the day. My original plan was 2 weeks off and work remote 2 weeks. Right after surgery i decided to take full 6 weeks. Having the sleeve wsd the best decision I've ever made. Listening to my body abd taking the time to recover was the 2nd best decision. I recommend it 100%. I too have a management position that in most cases is a desk job with 7 hrs of meetings a day lots of stress and fast pace. All of which is not conducive to a successful healing. In addition to my sleeve i also had hietal hernia repair. I have had zero complications. Also the time gave me time to deal with all post op without having to field questions from folks in the office. I decided to keep personal business to myself and husband. You will have so many dynamics and changes going on. Good luck

  9. Yesterday I started to experiencereally bad nausea and diarrheaout. Not sure what's going on. Really hard to attempt to drink or eat. Uhhh
  10. I ate about 2 cups of popcorn Friday night at the movies. I would have expected to have a reaction prior to 36 hrs later. Never again. It's Monday night and the nausea has subsided some.

    ANYONE NERVES ABOUT SLEEVE?

Pray.. feel confident and embrace this new journey. It will be one of the best decisions you ever made. Remember it's a tool and follow the doctors and nut directives. Also this journey is yours you own it. You can't focus on others and how they feel what they do or don't do. Good luck.

    Probiotics?

I experienced constipation for several weeks. I'm 8 weeks post op. I started taking probiotics 3 weeks ago and within 24 hrs regularity kicked in . I swear by them.

    What the heck? Gaining?

The same thing happened to me this past week. It was very frustrating. I increased my actual water intake and for 2 days most of my intake was clear liquids. Also realized I had not taken my probiotic for almost a week. This morning I was down 3lbs..
  16. Sleeved on 11/17. Down 29lbs. I return acknowledge to work Monday 1/5. Doing really good progressing nicely.
  17. I was sleeved on Nov 17th. Down 29lbs. My original plan was 2 weeks off and return back to work the Monday after Thanksgiving. I had also made arrangements with my management to work from home for 2-3 weeks. A few days post op I decided to give my body the rest and exercise it truly needed to recover and be successfully on this journey. Although my job allows remote working it is extremely intense , fast pace and high stress levels. I decided to take short term disability and use the time to rest, get my Protein intake in, walk and exercise daily and really educate myself on nutrition. This was the best decision for me. I return back to work on Monday. I should make mention that in addition to my sleeve I did have a hernia repair.
